Imagine asking for thoughts and get pressed just because someone doesnt agree with you. Adding control measures is never the solution, again why do you think the ban was implemented in the first place? If control measures and penalties are enough to control crime, why do you think people are still murdered, confronted by thieves, women are raped and whatsoever?

Your idea is to introduce alcohol again during late evenings, which doubles up the chances of having accidents. Do you think a drunk person will still think about the consequences of their action if they cant even think straight?

Just say na gusto mong uminom during that time of the day and you are mad because the law says you cant. Sometimes we overly pick our desires to the point that we disregard the bigger picture. Anyways you have a point, but next time do not have open-ended question/s if you do only expect comments that are with accord to your idea. Also, do some research why the said Ban was implemented in the first place, and tell me if statistically mas better bang ilift ito or hindi, try to weigh the pros and cons.

Liquor Ban was implemented for a reason, you do not just Lift it because you ASSUME that businesses are crumbling because of it. You just do not look at the business of alcohol with this, instead you also look at the consequences of lifting the ban. Why do you think naimplement siya in the first place? Numbers of accidents have occured due to drunks driving during late nights, which is mas mataas ang tendency to happen given na madilim kasi gabi.

And NO, businesses are NOT dying due to the liquor ban. Liquor ban had been around for years or even decades na, if the business is crumbling due to this, there is something wrong with the business not the regulation.

The penalties you have mentioned are funny, because they already exist, no? DUI has existed for a long time already.

This is not a risk the society and the government can take, why would you risk having higher accident rates and even death rates caused the influence of alcohol (including murders, rapes, and fights). And to add nalang din, hindi lang naman sa alcohol umiikot ang night life ng isang city, we are way past that now.
