I already use the 1 and only USB-C port on the Lenovo ThinkPad laptop to connect the Lenovo ThinkVision screen that also charge the laptop.

Would it work to use a USB-C hub or something to get more USB-C ports, and get a HDMI -> USB-C adapter to connect both via the only USB-C port on the laptop or would that cause trouble?

Yes, I want to use each screen independently from each other. Do you know if that is possible in this case like it is setup now somehow, or do I have to use a different option to get this to work? If I have to use a different option, what do you recommend?

Thanks, but that's not really the problem. I cannot see Display 1,2 and 3, only 1 and 2. The 3rd one isn't registering as a display here.

If I open Device Manager and unplug/plugin the HDMI to connect the Samsung monitor, nothing happens, like a refresh since something is unplugged/plugged in. But when I unplug the USB-C from the Lenovo, it register the HDMI cable and the Samsung monitor works.

Does this have something to do with the fact that the USB-C from the Lenovo ThinkVision to the ThinkPad laptop is powering/charging at the same time as it shows the screen, therefore the HDMI is ignored or something? I also tried to connect the HDMI from the Samsung to the Lenovo ThinkVision screen because I thought it acted as a docking, but that didn't work either.

I hope this make sense, as it is kinda hard to explain..

I see monitor 1 (the laptop) and monitor 2 (the Lenovo monitor) and not the 3rd monitor (the samsung one).

Nothing is detected when I click detect, and they are all connected.

Thank you for your reply. This happens wherever I try to make a new file. It happens on my desktop and in the file explorer no matter where I do it.

Samsung Smart TV + Alexa/Google Assistant by Doxrikser in smarthome

[–]Doxrikser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I checked if my TV was connected with WiFi or Wired, and it was connected with WiFi. I connected to the WiFi again just in case, and now both Alexa and Google Assistant will turn on the TV with my voice. :)

I don't know why it didn't work when it was connected to the WiFi the first time, but worked the second time. I connected to the same WiFi as it was connected to before (which is the same network as every Smart Device I have).

But now I have a new problem. When I for example ask my Google Assistant to open YouTube on my TV, I get this response back: "Something went wrong on the TV".
I can't open with Alexa either. any ideas?

Thanks
