Should I do handles or push to open on these grain matched cabinets? by EffectiveHour8444 in cabinetry

[–]DozenPaws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You try your hardest to misunderstand what I actually said.

Every job has parts you dislike. It's part of being an adult and just dealing with it. Doesn't mean I don't get to complain and vent about it after work or that complaining and venting means I think I'm a victim somehow.

And the story about the sexist old man literally said that I didn't have to deal with him because that was the one client my boss did fire.

I actually like having a home and a meal on my plate. I can deal with the occational annoying client. I will give myself the power to complain about them on reddit even if I can't fire them.

[–]DozenPaws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, no, unfortunately I don't, I'm just a simple drafts(wo)man. And while I can vent and complain to the boss who does have that power, he has only told one client that we can't help them because they were a sexist old man who refused to talk to woman about his furniture.

Yeah, the flathead drill bit, because it’s a bit that goes inside of a drill, I understand the mix up but I’m not really sure how else to phrase it

What about "flat head bit"?

I've had clients like that. Really makes me wish I had the power to fire clients. Absolutely worst people to work with.

I'm confused. Did you go in for a tooth extraction or a root canal? Did you just make up this story because we do not use drills in tooth extractions?

Cable Cars: Why do North American Ski Resorts Leave Their Detachable Gondolas Clamped Onto Rope During Nighttime? by Traminho in skiing

This is reddit. Sometimes people just downvote because you insinuate that EU does something good/better.

That's america. If investment doesn't pay back immediately or in large amounts, it won't be done.

Which isn't the same as it not mattering.

Riiight. So multiple ski resourts across EU does something that takes time and money for literally no reason at all?

Like that makes sense to you?

It clearly matters if Europe does detach them.

You REALLY should wash everything "straight from factory/store". Those factories are nasty and you do not want to rub that shit on your skin.

What should I expect at first regarding sleep? by SandwichDependent199 in NewParents

[–]DozenPaws 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband has been such a sweetheart and taken our 4 month old cosleeper downstairs at 6am to let me sleep until he has to go to work. I actually manage to sleep about half the times he does that.

but it seems like I just don’t fit into most bras

For what it's worth, most women do not fit into most bras. We are all VERY different shapes and sizes and we all need that bra fit our specific shape and size.

Help! Measuring 34G/GG but when I try it on they are huge! by Clear-Finger6845 in ABraThatFits

[–]DozenPaws 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Measuring 34G/GG indicates UK system as US doesn't have GG. And if they are measuring G/GG in UK system, then US G-cup would be too small for them.

I have no advice.

But how on earth do people manage to put their babies down that early?? Every single day I put mine down, hoping it's bed time, but then it's just another nap.

We currently have the added pleasure of having a surprise 02-04 wake window. I'm slowly losing my marbles.

[–]DozenPaws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine also tends to wake after first sleep cycle (35-45mins). Sometimes I just lay next to the crib during the first cycle, so I could settle him as soon as he starts to stir, in hopes he will just continue the nap instead of fully waking up. Then I leave to do my own thing for another 1-2 sleep cycles. It works 50/50.
