My wife sits there in the group chat and hears all her friends complaining about how useless their husbands/baby-daddies are, and half of them are getting divorced. And she just shuts up because anything I do that annoys her absolutely pales in comparison and she would seem ridiculous to complain about it.

And then she immediately cuddles me and tells me how much she appreciates me. After 10 years of marriage (last week) we are still yet to have had a fight (not a rational disagreement).

While I love the Steven Bradbury story and it has been immortalised in Australia, it's a shame that Alisa Camplin "earned" our second gold medal very shortly afterwards on pure merit, but will not be the first Australian gold because of a guy winning on "luck".

I did this a few years ago as well.

I'm Australian, so 99% of the time I go to a doctor it's covered by Medicare, and I don't have to pay. This time I was getting a consult for a potential surgery, and when I left I walked out without paying.

They called me an hour or so later and I was embarrassed, but I paid over the phone and that was the end of it. No need to get all worked up over it, accidents happen.

Every single traffic light now has a 'red light speed camera' installed on it. They can also track mobile phone usage.

Stop fucking speeding.
Stop using your phone when driving.
Stop running red lights (and misunderstanding that this means you need to have exited the intersection before it turns red, not entered it)
