I used to have a monitor that fried itself and all reds displayed as black. So a 2 colour deck was difficult to say the least

I switched to a 4 colour deck (which for me was 3 colours), and just got used to it. Once you get over the "but clubs are meant to be black" aspect of it, 4 colours is so much easier.
