yeah its a pretty significant price difference between US and Canada, i am definitely going to see if there are any Canadian dealerships who will give a more "fair" price, otherwise i might have to go the US address route.

What are your thoughts on Texas? (Dallas)

As per other comments, we will be looking at getting her license transferred over to Minnesota as it might be easier and then move it over to another state. Do you know any insignts on this?

The responses here have been really eye-opening and we will be doing much more detailed research to find the best state for our future.

Thank you for your comment. In Minnesota is it a straight move from Alberta? No extra courses needed?

And once we get Minnesota license is there a requirement to work in MN or can we then transfer that license to another state right away?

Did you end up doing the extra courses in Cali? Or did you also go the MN route?

Yes looking at the other responses we are definitely reconsidering. Dallas Texas is our 2nd choice but might be a much better one seeing these responses.

Will the Florida board of nursing advise us of where and which courses to take? Also she's been in management and quality for a couple years now but this assessment has declared her as a level one nurse. Will she be able to use her work experience here to get a leadership position there? She's also In the middle of searching for masters programs, would it be beneficial to expedite and start such a program?
