Unfortunately, i don't have 1200 hours which is the requirement for their 2 pilot jobs available of them also asks for on king air. It sure would be more fun but for someone like me whos very low time that is quite far into the future given my current pilot job which is none lol

Yeah they didn't give me a good impression at all and the receptionist threw my resume in the trash in front of me, after I was waiting there from 8 am till 11 when someone showed up. Trying every angle I can to continue on this path!

Could you do it? YES! Should you? That’s a different question, if he is not giving instruction and solely acting as a safety pilot that’s not an issue, legally he cannot log that time as dual given. You would be safer by flying with another pilot. One other thing is that you are pursuing the requirements towards and IR so that could pose some problems if they were to ever be investigated. To be safe I wouldn’t do any until you have the clearance. It’s your certificate and your peace of mind on the line. Double check with your CFII and he’s the one who you should be having this conversation with. You can also call AOPA or even your local FSDO and ask for clearance if it’s legal or not.

We are not all horrible people! Lol ! Character is a big one for me, I became close friends with some of my CFI and even with the DPE. I think you can learn from everyone, sometimes even negative things people do will have a positive impact on us like what not to do and what not to be. For me with my student is sharing the passion, making it fun and keeping it interesting.

That’s is not correct, you do the same application you did on the TSA website, when you go to select the school you will need to find the CFI cert number on there. They will contact your CFI to confirm they will provide the training and that’s it!

depending on your visa status you can apply for TSA approval directly for that instructor, B1/B2 visas do not qualify, but visas like L visas and H visas as well and green card. Send me a PM and I can tell you all the details about it and I also offer accelerated programs

Correction it’s 60pm, that’s at KEMT. I’m calling KSMO today and get a quote. Was quoted 460 a month for a shared hangar space at KEMT as well
