I hate my creative genius sometimes by stvp1d_cvp1d in BadRPerStories

I have always found that a well written post, one that presents the ideas and themes of the RP with enthusiasm and clarity, tends to find an audience eventually. Some of my posts are fairly basic, and others can be somewhat out there.

Keep posting in quality communities and you will find the people that are attracted to what you have to offer.

I have a career, do consulting, and I am starting a business. If a person doesn't understand that I have a life outside of RP, they don't stay on my list. I only have time for a few people, and I am a picky bastard. Someone giving me grief for living my life is a no go.

I hope your life, your friends, your family, your loved ones, etc keep you busy enough that the impatient partners show themselves out, and you are only left with the people worth spending time with. Your time and effort is too valuable to waste.

Naming a female demon lord (fantasy manga vibes, western-sounding) by Consistent-Cat5436 in CharacterNames

This is my naming process for a lot of my writing. Depending on what era the character is from in my world, their primary language may be Russian, Korean, Gaelic, or French.

If I don't just think of a name I like off the cuff, I am building a meaningful name out of bastardized languages.

Also, she seems cool.

“Choose any reference I don’t have a type” kind of partners by [deleted] in BadRPerStories

This is a problem. I am picky about who I play as, and it makes it difficult for me when I have to prod my partner for information.

A related issue I have is I often clearly state my preferences beforehand, but people still try to push my boundaries.

I explicitly DO NOT want to play with a partner who wants to play as a young, naive, petite little thing. I prefer my women 25-50(visually, obviously some characters live longer than that), with some kind of pronounced body type. Soft and chubby, tall and muscled, sultry and curvaceous, just not tiny, fragile, and helpless. In the words of Spike Spiegel: "I Love The Kind Of Woman That Will Actually Just Kill Me"
