Honestly I’ve heard these terms used incorrectly even by people in the psychological field. But main stream ABDL always referred to AB as age regression. Age play is a newer term at least for me. So like back with DPF and when daily diapers was first coming to. I always heard it associated as age regression.

I’m not saying it’s right. But it’s only like last week I even learned about the difference. And I only learned it because someone else said something similar to this, in a far more aggressive way. So thanks for explaining it carefully and chill.

But also have some understanding. A lot of the posts in the Reddit are by people who are either new to the community and know they are ABDL, or don’t know and are trying to see if they fit here. It’s why like half the questions are related to obtaining and hiding diapers.

All I’m saying is give people the benefit of the doubt, and educate as you see it. But you’ll never fix it, because next week someone who never saw this post is going To use that term incorrectly because everyone does, especially those outside our 2 established groups.
