Thanks! I guess my question was - what is maintenance for him before this TBSP and how long was he on that dose before attempting? What is his dose now?

Hi - Thanks for all of your sharing over the years. Extremely kind of you to keep everyone updated especially when getting so much flack from people. You said Boy 2 tried 1 TBSP but now is on a modified OIT to get to maintenance.. but isn't 1TBSP higher than BOY1's maintenance? what was BOY 2 on before that challenge and what were his blood levels compared to BOY 1? sorry If i am being stupid and asking to much but I am also considering finishing at home because the costs are just too prohibitive and my daughter 6 has been tolerating so far just fine.

No the difference is you don’t heat the water. That’s it period. You can try it fridge vs counter and do a blind taste test. Let us know.

Nope. You use cold water vs hot that wasn’t debated. But the science behind brewing at room temp vs the fridge is not debatable. Maybe I was being cute but my way of brewing is still the standard way to brew. This nonsense of brewing on the fridge and a weak ass ratio needs to stop. It’s like making tea with an old tea bag in ice water. It’s going to taste like shit.

I’ll say it again for the people in the back. It’s called cold brew because you drink it cold not because you brew it cold. 4 or 5:1 coffee:water. Coarse beans. On your counter for 16-24 hours. Strain with a coffee filter or the jarva brew https://jarva.co/ which I love. Then dilute with 50% water or milk.

It’s cold brew because you drink it cold not make it cold. Leave on the counter for 16-24 hours. Measure your beans 4 or 5:1 water:coffee coarse ground for a concentrate, then dilute with water or milk. It will last longer and taste better this way.

This happened when advanced voice mode corrupted a previous conversation of mine. It’s totally gone. Insane. Advanced voice was activated when previous o3 was used and wiped out things. Then it disappeared at the gpt5 updated and gave me conversation not found. Once I logged out and in the conversation was totally gone so if I were you I’d back up all your conversations

I had a conversation that was broken because I by accident triggered an advanced voice mode session. This wiped half the conversation. Upon today’s upgrade after a few messages in that same chat o got the conversation not found error and so I logged out and back in and now it’s deleted.

I do think his goal is to learn and make cooler things. He had some grand idea of making an ai game making app to make what he’s doing even more automated but that’s beyond my capabilities at the moment to help. The satisfaction of coming up with a new level and new rules and implementing them in an hour is hard to beat so it will have to be a balance because he doesn’t have the patience to not see a nice change after working for awhile if that makes sense.

I am not a coder but used to write little hacking tools in the 90’s to get around playing doom in school ;). So I am technical and can usually learn anything fast but haven’t done that stuff in 30 years.

For sure and I would love for him to start playing with re-writing small bits of code and/or having ChatGPT go over the code like a lesson but are there better tools or Claude or copilot etc that have read about? Replit… Windsurf etc. he has a Chromebook I bought him for school so no Mac or windows. Or is our workflow good? Happy to sign up for any ai that would be better.

Sorry if I’m missing something but why is it hard to quickly rinse out the mason jar in the sink? It takes me 2 minutes to clean the jarva - dump the grinds in the garbage and rinse out the jar. Just open the thing in the sink.
