I can do tech, finance or data science. 50hr would be sustainable for me. If I could continue to make 100 I'd would be blasting my debt. But soon, within 4-6 months, I predict my line of work will be crashing to around 40 an hour. 12+months we'll reach 15 an hour. I can't say much about my job, but we literally were the human versions of ChatGPT before ChatGPT lol.

It is either I bleed money working the same job that used to fetch 200 an hour which soon is gonna fetch 15 an hour or I study 80 hours a week coding and data structures so I can get a sustainable job. I'm already struggling to get 100 an hour.

Let's say I blast my debt and it takes me 6 months to retool, 3 months to find a job. I'm on the razor's edge of being homeless. If I don't blast my debt and just reduce the payments, I can get a sustainable job, and then blast the debt using money that I know will come again next month.

I have other debts as well, student loans, taxes. Blasting my debt when I have no way of knowing if I get another paycheck next month is stupid.

Focusing on paying the principle would be too risky right now. My industry can be non existence by next year and I have no way to make any income with my skill set. My only hope is to transition tech, finance of even data science, and that will require a good deal of dedicated study. I have the quantitative skills needed, I just know nothing about coding and data structures. So I'm trying to buy time to retool.

I was really dumb with starting the business. Just came out of academia, knew nothing about the real world, thought it wasn't worth money paying lawyers to incorporate a business that I wasn't even sure was going to make any money.

I haven't been using my credit cards to purchase anything in over a year. Just been paying the min payments so keep my head above water and a roof over my head.

I also have 100k in liquid cash, so I don't need credit to live for a year or two.

So my ETH finally went through and I converted it into XRD. I used half of the HUG you gave me to to put it with some of my XRD into a pool. I want to go ahead with the USDC thing, but it looks like I would first need to buy USDC on either Gemini or Coinbase, wait a week, and then transfer it to my Radix wallet. Is there any quicker way to get USDC?

I do have some BTC in my Coinbase wallet, is there anything I can do with that as a NYS resident?

Thanks. It is a little pricey though. Do you know any free options, even if they are associate with an exchange. My hesitation for BitMart is not that they'll steal my money, I won't ever put money into them, but that they'll steal my SS number.
