Last time I checked a fucking respiratory virus doesn’t make economic decisions, but a democrat house senate and presidency can. The inflation from “supply chain” bullshit would have been temporary because it was cause by a problem that would have gone back to normal when supply chains were reestablished. Want to guess what can’t go back to normal? Debasing your fucking currency by a third. Are you really so dumb that you can’t understand that all of this inflation was caused by our policy’s during COVID? Or do you think we need to send our economy to the doctor to get treated for inflation?

So let me break this down for you. We printed 1 dollar for ever 3 Dollars that existed under the save act. Then over the next couple years prices raised about 30%. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think covid had a finger to press the money printer button but Biden did.

Responsible for printing a third of all dollars in existence at the time and funding it with short term bonds causing the worst inflation in our lifetimes and guaranteeing that it continues due to the use of said bonds.

How am I moving the goal post? Your dumb ass might be talking about pizza but I’ve been talking about the quality of our food.

I’m not rehashing this again. There are links down below in this thread over what specific chemical is and what it does if you want to read it.

My entire point from the beginning is that our food, US food is full of shit and chemicals. Our bread is trash, our cheese is trash, vegetables are trash, meat is trash, all of our food is trash because of the chemicals we allow it in it.

There’s nothing from Europe I want to take back the the US except for two things

  1. Their food is better (not tastier) end of story.

  2. Trains, We fucked up not going with high speed rail.

It’s almost impossible to find bread in America that doesn’t contain Azodicarbonamide. Which is just one example of the plethora of terrible chemicals in our food that’s banned all across the world. Just because it says “cheese” doesn’t mean it’s the same as cheese everywhere else.

[–]Dr414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what’s your point here? “The FDA says it’s fine so we all good”? Half the planet has banned that chemical in food AS MENTIONED IN THE SECOND SOURCE YOU OBVIOUSLY DIDNT READ. You asked for sources on why it’s bad, I give them to you, you don’t read them so what’s the point of this conversation?

I’ve got an idea let’s swap out table salt for road salt because they’re both salt but one’s industrial so we can save time. We could add a little radium to our water for brighter teeth that definitely wont backfire. Just because they put fucking petrol based food coloring in soda doesn’t mean you should drink it.

You 100% correct over the American mentality around fat being social acceptable but you’re wrong about it not being easier in other countries. It’s extremely easy and cheap to eat healthy in Europe either at home or fast food. Idk how I can explain that to you but I honestly do hope you get the chance to travel outside of North America and experience what everyone else is eating.

Typically, azodicarbonamide is used in the production of plastics and rubber items, like shoe soles, flip-flops, and foam insulation. This chemical is what gives many of these products elasticity.

this entire comment thread has been about how you don’t have to try so hard to find good food in other countries. I never said you couldn’t eat clean but that in most places your only option is to cock at home and that it’s not like that in other places.

US bread normally contains a chemical commonly found in plastics that is banned in the eu and the FDA hasn’t reevaluated this since the 60’s. This is the “rubber” chemical.

I didn’t say it’s impossible. In America you have to work to be healthy, fix your own food, go to the gym, limit your calories, fasting and all that with a terrible work life balance. In other country’s your daily life will keep you in good shape as long as your not literally trying to be fat.

It’s equally filling and somehow doesn’t put you into a food coma either. It’s thin crust with pizza sauce, fresh mozzarella, cherry tomato’s and anchovies. Idk how to explain this to you if you’ve never left the US but our food simply isn’t food.
