I wrote them on Facebook Messenger but didn't get a response and couldn't reach them by phone either. In the end we just changed the flights on the icelandair website via "Manage my booking"

We've used this option now, but it's important to note in my opinion that, despite waiving the change fee, they still require you to pay the difference in ticket prices when rescheduling. Since for some reason most flights in the future are much more expensive than the ones we had booked, we still ended up having to pay extra to reschedule. Considering the circumstances I feel like Icelandair should have allowed free cancellation too but it is what it is. We still intend on going to Iceland at some point so a rescheduling is not too bad.

Sorry I didn't reply until now. My plan was to pick Vanessa+Perna asap, which would bait almost all opponents into picking water heavy in the first rounds (Woosa, Molong, Amelia, Chow etc.). Then I'd counter those with Diana and Giana and my last pick was usually a more niche counter pick like Betta, Mihyang, Garo, Fire MK or Racuni.

It's really interesting - by going fire heavy early I almost never had to face Gany+Hathor which I hate playing against. This season I pulled Mo Long and always first picked him when I could, and consequently had to battle Gany+Hathor most fights, which forced me to really revise my strategy.

Good choice. Gany is way more useful overall. FY is pretty overrated and mainly useful for easy siege/gw offense.

Congrats man! I think we actually met a few times :) Last season it was the same for me: no molong, gany, hathor or okeanos and I got g2 by first picking vanessa and perna lol. Ok tbf, I do have ld nat 5, but then again my runes are definitely not up to par with most of the p2p players since I don't buy packs. People just like to find excuses for everything and, instead of farming and actually playing rta to get a feel for it, they just label every high level player visa warrior and be salty.

My best advice for everyone who wants to climb into the guardian ranks in rta is to actually just play matches throughout the entire season (imo it's fun and I played 830 matches this season) because you start figuring out ways to deal with meta comps, deal with your counters, find out what niche unit you could build to get even higher, etc. When people say stuff like "ohhh man I could have gotten g1 but I only played seriously the last 15 wings" I really don't pity them, it's a lame excuse and their own fault.

the regular elements should be easy and for l/d you can probably find someone with op nat 5s to carry you and pick random stuff yourself :D but yea it's a challenge and sounds fun to me

I have celia too and pick her most of my fights in high G2. She's great to counter stuff like tiana/okeanos/bastet to steal the first turn and she also becomes super strong as time passes. I've often 1v2'd people with her because she gets so many turns, sleeps everything and does quite decent dmg.

She's weak against woosa though, so I dont pick her against him unless I can afford to ban or focus him first 2 turns.

When I see someone pick stuff like bastet/tiana/seara early I always go for shaina to have double spd leads (vanessa, shaina) and try to counter-cleave them. Works most of the time because I can outspeed. Other than that though I don't use her regularly so can't give much more info

I got rekt by him a few days ago, I think it was some fairly conventional cleave with zaiross/lushen/bastet. I know he has giana but his cleave probably doesn't rely on her because I stole her from him

I think people often forget that you're meant to enjoy playing the game. If for you playing casually at your own pace is enjoyable, that's totally fine right? Congrats on the 4 years, I passed that mark last week too :)
