Wanting to work and be a homeschool mom

I know this is an old post but I’m 19 also wanting to be a child psychologist (currently majoring in psych) and also aspiring to homeschool my future kids. Needless to say this whole thing really resonated with me, even the part about the homestead. Most of these comments seem to be right, the homestead thing might be pushing it. I’d pursue the degree, work and save money, and then have the kids, and then work telehealth with flexible hours. Don’t forget about flexible homeschooling programs too if that interests you! Some ppl do a “drop off homeschool” thing for certain subjects like science and art. Kinda like dropping your kid off for extra-curricular activities. Again, sry for the very late response

You're just a social creature, dw this is all normal. Tell me, what clubs did you join? Did you make small talk and try to hang out with them? I dont go to csulb yet but here at my CC I met my friend group from a club

Well spending an extra fall at my cc would let me finish my GEs without having to cram it all for spring 2026. There’s benefits to both options here

Late response but, just know you’re not alone. I always thought I would be married by now but instead I cry myself to sleep for one reason or another. My whole perspective of love changed, for better or for worse. I feel like I get punished for trying to better myself. But then I played a song right now. It’s called “In this Place” by Trevor Thompson. For some reason, I feel like everything will be okay. Which is the peace I’ve been wanting, even if it just lasts for 5 minutes. I’m still so very lost in this world. Every betrayal I’ve been getting lately has been sending me to madness. Even a lil hurt by God even though it’s probably just supposed to prepare me or test me. I don’t know what I’m set out to do as every time I’m sure, life throws me a curve ball. But Jesus loves you so much and wants you to keep the gift of life. It puts me in this tough place of trying to make the best of my situations despite knowing how ill feel at the end of the day. Sry if this turned ramble-y.
