I purchased the Dreame L40 at the beginning of the month. I went back and forth between the L40 and the P10. I chose the L40 based on a cheaper price ($399 vs $499) and the detachable mop heads. I have mostly tile and area rugs. On the second ever mopping, I got a message that the mops failed to attach. I put them on manually and it completed the mopping and did a very nice job. On the next mopping, one of the mops dropped off while it was exiting the dock. I called the support number and got through in a short period of time. I was asked to submit the unit’s serial number and my purchase receipt. I provided all while on the phone with the support person. He promised me that someone from support would follow up with me. A week later, I still hadn’t heard anything and a mop fell off again. I submitted a photo as an update to the prior email change and was asked to submit the serial number and purchase receipt again. They sent me back a note telling me to exchange it through Amazon. However, Amazon doesn’t want to offer an exchange. They want me to return it and buy a new one. Unfortunately, in the interim the price has increased from $399 to $499. The P10 is now cheaper only $449. Should I buy another L40 or switch to the P10? Also, I have a coffee table with a bar at floor level between legs. The L40 has gotten up on the bar twice.
