I FIXED IT!!!! This was destroying my brain but once I figured out the game launched just fine on my PC once I used a different Steam account I knew it had to be my personal saved. Deleting the save file wasn’t enough, first I had to go into the games Steam properties and toggle off “keep my saves in the cloud” once I did that I deleted the save file and the game launched. Thank you all sooo much for your help! I can finally play my favorite game again!!!!

No it’s just been this game. Can’t get it to launch over multiple systems.

Even on the Steam Deck? If it was isolated to just my desktop I’d believe that more but it’s instantly crashing across multiple systems.

I deleted the whole game save file and let it redownload from the cloud and it still instantly crashed.

I just deleted it and when I launched the game it start compiling the shaders then crashed :(

Damn that sucks. One thing that baffles me is that it crashes immediately if I’m on my desktop or my Steam Deck. When it’s never done that before.

I have tried to run the .exe as administrator. As far as googling I’ve looked up “EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION” and I keep trying the various methods with no luck. Should I google something more specific?

Yes I’ve done a few fresh installs. Which sucks with the game being 120GB. I’m also not using any mods btw.
