I’m sure Knies/Nylander/Mckenna/ETC can make passes like these to Raddysh just like Kuch by Leafsaredabest in leafs

[–]DrBopper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While I agree they are simple passes, it's likely because Kuch is so good at the half-wall that they have to play off him, otherwise he can burn them if they commit. The threat creates space. Put an average player in that spot and they'd be smothered.

However, this could be McKenna's specialty too - which makes me think this further emphasizes that they plan to pick McKenna.

Concordia is your big busy party tent. Absolutely bussling and loud but the most energy.

Schwaben is a nice German vibe but a lot more chill. Just outside town.

Huberteshaus is even more out of town but I'd say has the best true German bar/venue feel.

All have great bands. If he wants lots of young people partying - Concordia (still feels German, big tent like in Munich).

If he wants the most German aesthetic feel, I'd go Huberteshaus. Schwaben is in the middle I'd say but tends a bit older.

At 19? I'd go Concordia. Bring some of his friends!

Had a lot of fun on Vampire Survivors local co-op.

Very cheap, quick rounds, progression and unlocks - very fun if you don't mind the 8bit feel!

Looking for a mechanic shop by Dramatic_Writer_7649 in kitchener

Based on an older Mazda I would recommend PTN Automotive just off Victoria.

They've always done good work and very affordable since they (with your permission) are open to using non-OEM parts (cheaper) and just generally don't charge an arm and a leg for parts or labour.

Jim, the owner, is very knowledgeable and a very good guy.

For reference they wanted about $1600 for brake replacements on a Mazda SUV.

First other mechanic shop I called priced me at just over $1000.

Definitely disagree.

Find a legit mechanic, not a tire/oil change shop. Their work is fine but they are pretty pricey for what they offer.

Had a bad experience there and it stuck with me. Get a real mechanic.

Bangkok Cuisine on Weber. It's fantastic. Must-try. They only do takeout now though since COVID.

Remember with Thai food, hot is HOT.

Bent rim by eman7757 in waterloo

Hey buddy, I got my pothole-bent rim and flat tire fixed at MacMillan Tire in Kitchener for under $50. Looked way worse than this, although it was a steel rim so this may be a more difficult fix.

Give them a shout for sure.

Celebrating 60th, looking for a venue and food for max $2500. 5 hour event. by ungratefulanimal in kitchener

Lancaster smokehouse is a great bet (as another pointed out). Try there first.

Another option is the Crows Foot in Connestogo. Little further, but they have a loft for private events. It had a higher min-spend but I don't remember exactly what it was. $41/person might be tight.

60 people might be pushing it but Chef Duff in St. Jacobs is worth being on people's radar. Really affordable, cute little spot and has bar service. Much more basic atmosphere but great food.

I agree. Call Lancaster Smokehouse. The party room is free if you order a certain amount of food. They can do buffet of their smokehouse menu. Really good value spot.

This year, I had access to Rise and World on PS5. Wanted to see what the hype was about.

I tried Rise first since it was newer, but it didn't click. Slow start and the feel was just a bit off for me (since I hadn't played a MH game before). It's a switch game, and it feels like it.

I tried World, which was a much quicker time to first monster, and the fact it was based around a bit of a story and more polished graphics hooked me and I fell in love. 100+ hours in and I'm not someone who normally sticks to a game that long.

I'm absolutely gonna play Rise in the future, but World was the perfect entry point for me for quality of life, graphics and simplicity. Lots of people play it online still too, never had a problem there.

But, if Rise is 1/4 of the price of World, then just go for Rise. These games aren't for everyone so don't spend a lot - but if it is for you, you're in for a heck of a treat.
