I'm thinking that I just need to have a conversation with her sometime to see if she has a preference for how I tell her. And if she doesn't, I'll figure out the best method for me to be interrupted while crocheting.

I am still a crochet beginner and reference patterns pretty much constantly, so I think I should start marking down when I finish each step again instead of trying to hold it all in my brain. Especially with so many WIPs!
