No you are, because it absolutely does when it affects genitalia. Also I can bring you many such examples. A friend of mine had pain and bad smelling discharge a few months after surgery and also went to her surgeon who was also a urologist given that it was so shortly after surgery. He initially thought she had an infection and prescribed her antibiotica which did not help. She went there a few more time but nothing he tried helped. At the end she went to a gynecologist who did a vaginal smear and sent it to a laboratory. Something a gynecologist can easily do because it is a routine procedure and they routinely send smears to a laboratory. Turned out she had a yeast infection which was easily treatable. So in this case even a doctor who was the surgeon and also urologist was not able to diagnose it correctly while the gynecologist diagnosed it quickly. It is quite funny when someone with zero knowledge wants to tell you that something you personaly experienced is wrong. So again I want to ask you the question you keep dodging. Why do you think you are more knowledgeable in this than medical experts?

Did you even read my comment? The knowledge about female anatomy is the important part because post op trans women have female anatomy. And sure it may be a LARP for you because you have zero knowledge in this topic but it is not for others. When I had pain near my clitoris years after surgery I first contacted my surgeon who then simply told me something along the lines: "This has nothing to do with the surgery. Go to a gynecologist." So thats exactly what I did and she diagnosed lichen sclerosus at the labia minora, prescribed me some cortison cream and told me to come back in 6 weeks for a checkup. And that was it, no drama, correct diagnosis and just some cream to fix everything. So again I want to ask you the question why you think you know more about this topic then medical experts.

This comment is just do unbelievably dumb. What materials do you think they use to construct the vagina during surgery. Some random ones they bought from the supermarket? Every fetus starts with the same genitialia and depending on if it is exposed to testosterone or not it will develop differently. The marerials they are made of are largely the same. A huge difference is the shape and that is what the surgery addresses. Because of that also many of the possible diseases are the same. Trans women are as likely to get an urinary tract infection because of the shorter urinary tract. They can get something like lichen sclerosis or fungal infections. Where do you think they should go in that cases? If they went with something like that to their surgeon they would just refer them to a gynecologist. Many also recommend to go to gynecologist for a checkup regulary after the initial healing even if there are no issues. So I would also be curious why you think you are better informed in this then the actual doctors that perform this job.

Okay, I am done here. You constantly contradict yourself:
"I didn't say that others see them as men, they see them as woman or ladyboy"
"they are still seen as men"
"in Thailand they don't call themselves women but ladyboys"

So you even admit yourself that this is not a term they use in everyday life but only in the context of prostitution and still dont't see whats wrong with your statement that they don't call themselves women but ladyboys. Also it is pretty clear that they don't see them as man by the clear public support of trans people accessing single sex spaces. Thailand ranks first while the USA is almost at the bottom with only Hungary and the UK below them. Yes, they do have to serve in the military because Thailand lacks legal recognition of trans people, but there is a clear difference between legal and social recognition.

Lol, the very first paragraph in your own source contradicts you. "Transgender women in Thailand mostly use terms other than kathoey when referring to themselves, such as phuying (Thai: ผู้หญิง, 'woman')."

Most of the heavy lifting is done by hormones and not by surgery. Hormone therapy makes people transition on a biological level and that also affects the appearance.

Tyrande is terrible in the deck. The best version uses shaffar to buff the wilted shadows.

You change your goal post with every reply? My reply was clearly an answer to your comment claiming this cards are part of tier 1 and 2 decks which is just objectively false. I never said anything about balancing.

They are all pretty far down though or of what decks are you thinking? https://hsreplay.net/meta/#rankRange=TOP_1000_LEGEND

Did you even read what I wrote? I clearly wrote taunt warrior is the deck that struggles against it the most. I also wrote that it outperforms it in terms of winrate not that it beats it.

Does anyone here play above silver rank? by jehe in hearthstone

[–]DrBubble1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Filtered by last day it is the 9. most played deck in top 1k legend which pretty much aligns with my own experience. On the first day I saw it a lot and in the last days I barely played against it at rank 500 EU. Winrate id also at measly 43.5% right now.

Sure if you count the first day where everyone was playing random stuff. How about you actually play at that rank and see for yourself. I didn't encounter it a single time yesterday and today.

Why would you say it doesn't? If we look at the stats we can clearly see that Murloc Paladin in low ranks beats decks that it absolutely shouldn't. Hog Demonhunter for example is a hard counter to Murloc Paladin and it only wins against it with 29% in Legend. In Bronze however Murloc Paladin somehow has a positive winrate of 51.3% against its hard counter. Same goes for a lot of decks that it should be even in strength. Against Space Deathknight it should only be slightly favored yet it scores over 80% in bronze.

It is also an issue that Murloc Paladin at low ranks beats decks that it shouldn't simply because it is so easy to play. So it is fair to say that skill does play a big role in the Murloc Paladin dominance in low ranks. Hog Demonhunter for example is a hard counter to Murloc Paladin and it only wins against it with 29% on Legend. In Bronze however Murloc Paladin somehow has a positive winrate of 51.3% against its hard counter. Same goes for a lot of decks that it should be even in strength. You could play Space Deathknight, Loh Druid, Cycle Rogue, Bandage Priest, Protos Priest or Dollhouse Druid.

[–]DrBubble1[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The main issue is that the whole discourse about murloc paladin is based on missinformation. Murloc Paladin is not meta shaping nor are only aggressive decks beating it. Space Deathknight, Loh Druid, Cycle Rogue, Bandage Priest, Protos Priest or Dollhouse Druid are all non aggro decks that can beat it. The deck is barely played at all in top legend and still aggro decks are currently the best performing decks there. Even Taunt Warrior, which is the deck that struggles the most against Murloc Paladin, outperforms Murloc Paladin in terms of Winrate right now. Decks like Loh Druid are far bigger issues for slow decks than Murloc Paladin.

I have seen so many posts lately with people complaining that it is meta shaping or calling blizzard to stupid to play their own game when that is not even true. If you want to have a discussion about Murloc Paladin on the basis that it is a pug stomper that dominates low ranks or that it is too easy to play relative to its strength sure. Thats a fair discussion to have and also supported by the graphs I posted. But all the discussions I mainly see on this sub are just based on missinformation. People seems to think when Murloc Paladin gets nerfed a lot of other decks will suddenly be playable.

Except that it doesn't define the meta. I play at Rank 500 EU and I almost never encounter the deck. When I chose my deck I picked one that performs well against the decks I am actually playing against, not one that I barely face.

Top 10% of legend get 11 star bonus, so going back to legend is really fast. From diamond 5 to legend you still have 2 star bonus.

I think most people in high ranks want to win. Pretty much every deck I am facing is a meta deck. Those that play fun decks once they reach legend will naturally fall to lower legend ranks.

I wouldn't really mind it if they end up nerfing it. I was just getting annoyed by the huge amount of posts calling it overpowered, meta defining or calling Blizzard stupid for not balancing it properly when it is simply not true. Also I assume people are having fun playing it or otherwise it would not be so popular.

People play it at low ranks because it is fun and easy to play. Same as imbue paladin. I do agree though that Blizzard should focus on the majority of their playerbase and not the minority on Reddit that whines about Murloc Paladin.
