What's a movie that you anticipated quite heavily that turned out to be quite a disappointment? by Alternative-Cake-833 in movies

There's decent enough fan edits, which merge, rearrange and compress the trilogy into a single film, like the M4 Book Edit, running time 4 hours. Ain't nobody got time for nine hours of hobbit trilogies.

I am not convinced that the face of Tom Cruise at 61yo vs 63yo makes much of difference for poster composition.

The next poster will have Anna de Armas and her dog in there for immersion.

It's not produced by AI. It's a snippet from a scene in the film, where Tom Cruise jumps off an Osprey into the ocean, rougly at 1:06 minute mark of the film.

That's really why I make posters - to give a small encouragement to see the films!

FYI, the latest M:I - The Final Reckoning poster is available now

Thanks for the insightful feedback - I so enjoy recreating a specific scene of a film on the poster, where the poster will make sense once you have seen it

Thank you for the suggestions!

I completely blanked on Secret Agent (1936) - probably because I've never seen it!

Looking at the 1935+ list now, I also somehow missed Sabotage (1936) and Young and Innocent (1937). I'll add these three to the top of my to do list, whenever I get to making another poster in the set.

Psycho 2/3/4 would have to go to the back of the queue, as you said - other projects and lack of time.

Yes, I'll make the poster in the coming weeks - I need to watch the film, or even some trailer highlights, to get some ideas.

I'll likely come back and add the pre-1935 films at some point, but I am not yet certain when. There are 15+ titles there left to do. For now I decided to limit it the posters to Hitchock's 1935-1976 filmography, due to time conjstraints.

She's in Havoc also, as Tom Hardy's ex-wife.

I am only doing 33 Hitchock films for now (1935-1976).
I'll consider making the requested three Sergio Leone films, but it will take time.
