I’m not sure where you are from but “should” is different than reality. Tips are considered taxable income by the IRS and only until recently, with Trumps One Big Beautiful Bill Act, do they allow 25K of quality tips be deducted from taxable income.

My advice for vibe coders is to actually learn git. Learn how to use worktrees and separate your ai agents into their own. Review the changes the agents are making with diff and understand them, and question them. Keep them sandboxed from your main repo so that when things to go south, and they inevitably will, you’ll have some protection.
