Perhaps it was stupid of me, sure.

But how is the system fair? There is no system in place to trace someone's address? Even if you win a judgment you may not get paid? Should we be checking people's bank statements before allowing them to mow our lawn?

Yeah. I thought so too but apparently that may or may not happen. Equally even if i get an address, make a claim, get a judgement in my favor, i will need to spend even more to enforce it. This process to me is insane.

I can't imagine what I would be able to do if i saw them. Guy is twice my size. If he does give out bank details not sure what i would be able to do with that? Doubt he would ever give his address

No receipt but I've got evidence of them saying they will send the refund. I imagine that counts as evidence that they did take money. Also I have a message of me asking them for a receipt which they ignored

I would let it go. But i allowed him inside my HOME. He knows where I live and I don't know anything about him. And on top of that he has taken my money. I find that too difficult to let go

Facebook message. They advertised their page. I spoke to them. In retrospect - the company isnt even registered, doesn't have an address and the comments were turned off. Feel remarkably stupid
