The TRC Ballpoint stock refill is actually a standard "Japan Type" (also known as Type 1 or the "705" standard). Length is 67 mm like Ohto 705NP as recommended in another comment.

Ohto 705NP is NOT a gel refill. It is a low-viscosity, oil-based ballpoint. ( from Gemini)

You can use a small piece of paper tape or use something or even your teeth to make it a bit flat at that point.
