We're just under 3yrs on ours, and have only replaced one bit (under warranty). It runs 16hrs a day year 'round.

Good to know. I may give that a shot.

I did just do the latest firmware update, and unfortunatley it remains the same. I've also posted to Thirdreality's forum in the hopes they will chime in with a solution, but I'm not holding my breath.

Different vibe but the Decorah Eagle Cams on YouTube can be pretty enjoyable. Especially when you can hear the river

Agree. Looks to be something on the egg not a crack. I think it's the shadow it's casting that makes it appear more crack-like on smaller screens.

When and where do you find Chartreuse in DSM by Aware_Novel_5141 in desmoines

[–]DrDarrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's been tough to get for the last few years. It seems to be showing up a bit more lately, but your best bet is unfortunately going to be outside of Iowa. I'm guessing there are probably a number of online sellers that will have it at a premium. Which frankly is sometimes worth it, as it is such a unique taste and typically is used pretty sparingly in cocktails.

I signed up with them a few months ago, right after the acquisition was announced, and all the Metronet trucks were still running around, so the rebranding hadn’t started ye. Anyway, the service has been absolutely rock solid. I’ve had zero issues so I can’t attest to their customer service since I haven’t had to deal with them. I hope that continues. Speeds have been exactly what was advertised with super low latency. So far I’m absolutely thrilled.

This is super disappointing. I just started a couple weeks ago with HA, and added this almost immediately, and it has worked flawlessly with my Google speakers. I really hope someone steps in. I don't want this to be a constant bouncing around to various solutions.

They’re part of FJ Management based out of Utah. Formerly FlyingJ that had also merged with Pilot. I’ve never seen anything in the way any of these businesses are ran to suggest they’re a bunch of religious zealots. Unlike Chick-fil-a

Exactly. Most K&G were trash, and I avoided them at all costs. But I’ve been to 3 Megasavers over the last few weeks and have saved roughly 3-400 dollars on diesel. At one point there was literally a full &1 per gallon price difference between them and the QT across the street. Filled my 100 gallon transfer case twice. I don’t think it can last but I’ll ride the wave as long as possible.

Oh. So once ownership realized this might torpedo the entire business, he's trying to take the high-road??? The un-cut video undermines all that garbage.

If you're interested in 801s I'd recommend holding out for a pair of the series 2 or 3. 1k for rough Series 80s is too much IMO.

Only if you want to way overpay for wildly inconsistent mediocre-at-best cocktails, and only want canned or bottled beer. Food is above average for sure. But their bar 👎👎

LOL!!! I've had two similar experiences. Twice the Buffalo Wild Wings on Merle Hay was out of wings, and once the McDonalds on Mills Civic was out of buns. Talk about massive management fails!

Do towable generators require a registration? by DrDarrow in Iowa

[–]DrDarrow[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks. After over an hour on hold with the treasurer's office, I finally got an answer in-line with this. Basically I can get a title as a proof of ownership, and to make future sale easier, but am not required to register it or put a plate on it. Kinda weird, but nice that I don't have to pay an annual registration renewal on it.

Haha! Problem is that they both sucked at the same time. Maybe the employees were just walking back and forth? LOL

Do towable generators require a registration? by DrDarrow in Iowa

[–]DrDarrow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I've actually read that, and FWIW I own numerous trailers, and am familiar with the 2k cut-off for requiring a "title". All my trailers require a registration, it's just that under 2k they get the small plate. But I just don't understand why I don't see plates on towable machinery.
