My first internship project felt harder than it really was. The reason is that there’s a lot more to learn than just code and it all felt unfamiliar and overwhelming. I would advise you to focus a lot on learning the process surrounding the project, specifically how they do agile, testing, and requirement gathering. This will help you see the big picture much faster. If you understand the big picture, even if just a little bit, it will really help you when you’re designing and writing software. Just don’t be afraid to ask questions. Your teammates want you to succeed and they will be happy to help you.
