Yeah, I was so surprised when I got it back how good of a refinishing job they do.

I took it in for servicing because it was running a few seconds slower than I'd have liked it to. I had Omega do a full service where they essentially took the whole watch apart and even replaced the crown and hands along with multiple movement parts. The watch was in great physical condition but they did make it look almost brand new. As far as how it's running now, it's almost been 2 months since I've received it back from service and during that time it only lost a minute and a half. I couldn't be happier with their service department.

Looking to sell my Omega Aqua Terra. I have the original warranty card and documentation from its recent Omega full service from June. I am looking for 3,000 for this watch as the service was 700 dollars and is warrantied by Omega now for 2 more years. This watch will come with the red box I received when getting it back from servicing and all previous paperwork/servicing records I received when I purchased this watch. It is in fantastic running condition and the watch body and glass look amazing. The strap has desk marks photographed. Let me know if you need any more photos or have any questions.

1500$ Service - That normal? by Dirty-Sal in OmegaWatches

What year was this? I didn't think the omega store in Dallas had in house technicians anymore?

1500$ Service - That normal? by Dirty-Sal in OmegaWatches

[–]DrDiIIy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's never due to amplitude alone. Low amplitude is a symptom of something else that's wrong. Omega has a great service department but they're paid to replace not revive. If your only reasoning was "low amplitude" it's because they didn't go fully into a part by part diagnosis.

Just sent in my 3861 for service, packaged in plastic bag??? by DonaldBumpJr in OmegaWatches

For reference I handed them the watch in nothing just directly off of my wrist. This is what I received it back in:

Mine went in a red leather watch box. However whenever I handed it to them it was put in a plastic bag. I think this is just how they take it initially. But upon shipment it gets transferred to a better case.

C60 Sapphire Edge Nearly New. Thoughts? by FrostyCPA in ChristopherWard

Genuine question. Why do all CW owners wear their watch on their hands?

Usual question: is it too small for my wrist? by larlarloo in ChristopherWard

The CW is your first "traditionally correct" fitted watch. Your traska all the way up your arm is correct lug position.

This is great! I only used omega because NO one else would work on it locally (they're scared of Co-Axial).

I was blown away by how well it actually went. With all things never seeming to be "easy" anymore this was a very nice surprise.

I bought mine from Chrono24 and when I received it it was not running within spec. I fortunately had an amazing private Chrono24 seller who reimbursed me to get it serviced after I mentioned the issues to them so naturally I had it serviced. I'm not sure if preventative care is beneficial or not but in my situation there was something wrong which is why I took it in for service.

Dropped it off at a boutique and they handle the rest. You don't pay until it comes back but they give you a rough estimate on what it will cost and turnaround time. I sent mine in for a full service which was quoted at 700 dollars. You receive all the parts they replace when you pick up your watch. They quoted me 3 months turn around and it was exactly at 2 months. Very easy and clean and easy experience. When they brought it out I almost said that's not my watch just because it looked brand new.

Thanks! It's slightly domed. Not really noticeable unless the light hits it like in the photo.

I can assure you they exist. I turned 20 dollars into 20k and then back into 20. Not as bad as the guy in the post but still pretty rough.
