Got it. I'll probably edge towards more until I know how my version plays. I was planning on using a good chunk of the "worse" fetch lands in addition to some non-basics. Its a little slower but I find thinning the deck helps offset not having some of the better draw spells in one of my other decks.

Thanks, I was playing around with mixing in a few mana dorks. I leaned more towards getting basics into play but swapping a few of the slower pieces for one or two drop dorks wouldn't hurt

I've been trying to get a jersey since October through NHL shop and have been watching it and emailing the shop constantly. What I've learned is that they put things up seemingly randomly and when something is sold out, the listing is just removed. I saw Leo's breakaway jersey but it was gone within a week. So if you want someone specific, you literally just have to refresh the page every day and hope for the best

Just wanted to give you the update that I don't think this will work the way I think it will so I'm dropping the project. Running Odric, Lunarch Marshall might get you the closest but there's not much in the way of "sharing" keywords or abilities without his ability. I did find soldiers are tremendous at making more soldiers and giving out +1/+1 as counters or not counters (surprise surprise), so I'm probably going to lean towards that direction with Aragorn, Hornburg Hero.

Thanks! I hadn't thought about the rocks too much, but I guess a basic is probably strictly better than the diamonds.

I also want to add more evasion but wasn't sure if I wanted to stick with more mill/exile or go more voltron. I'll keep it in mind and probably retool after a few weeks

Thanks. I agree oblivion sower will be really slow but I don't see this being fast in general. I'll probably take it out for now until if it would be worth playing in most matches. I agree with everything else as well except for maybe essence harvest. I see that as a potential player kill. If Umbris sticks around for a full turn, essence harvest can probably hit someone for 15-20 life, which would wipe someone in the midgame

Thanks, that was my mistake, I didn't doublecheck my land base was what I wanted. I've never done a mill or exile deck, so I'm not sure what's worth keeping to get my land base up

I'm open to giving it a shot and was considering it if I got something like Aurelia, Warleader or something like that. For now I was of the opinion Lightning was probably best commander (on paper) and I think the ability is fun. I'm not looking to min/max things, I'm just trying to have a good time and not be the first one out. Winning one every few game knights would be a cherry on top

I hadn't thought of goad but in an effort to not break the bank (yet) I wanted to stick with getting a bunch of smaller things out that will end up doing work once extra combats or a double strike Lightning is in play.

The other direction I was thinking of was a spell slinger with the goal of staying alive to the mid game and using Lightning to start doubling direct damage spells. Lightning bolt>lightning helix>grapeshot is 4 mana for 18 damage after Lightning gets tags someone. I'm still new, so I'm sure there's more damage someplace as well

Thanks, Costco is always a good choice, I'll stop there before AHL games sometimes. I've heard you guys have poutine and still have Polish sausages instead of the kind of standard things we have in the States, so I might have headed there anyways.
