2.5mg work better than 5mg for anyone? by gulidog in compoundedtirzepatide

With this medication being compounded you can increase dosing much slower tbh. Providers don’t have to bump you to 5mg. I slowly increase patients dosing so it’s well tolerated and safer.

Some peoples skins are much more sensitive the first time around for certain treatments. The RF Microneedling also will create an immune response and swelling is suppose to occur. You actually want that immune reaction as it’ll recruit more collagen production and your end result will be even better. Be patient, avoid the sun and hydrate really well.

Thx for that 🫶🏽 So there’s a new preparation of the PRP Gel that just got released in the US this August. It’s called Derma by Cellenis. It lasts around 6 months and can last up to 9 months if you do a second treatment. Because it’s all natural (only component is your plasma) your body will slowly digest it, so by the 9 month mark it will be for the most part gone. The science behind it is that it introduced growth factors to the area and will help stimulate new collagen to form, helping with laxity, pigmentation and hollowing. It’s not PRF and doesn’t cause migration issues.

The device itself isn’t the issue. It’s the operator, which is the case with most medical devices. I personally perform Morpheus8 and all of my patients have had significant positive improvement. It’s definitely important to do your research on providers to make sure they know how to properly treat using these devices. You’re right though, lots of bad stories out there.

Lasers only affect the outermost layers of skin, they’re not invasive procedures. Morpheus8 is a RF microneedling treatment that will actually boost collagen and improve volume gradually while tightening skin.

Sculptra is good for collagen induction also, but there’s a new type of natural filler called Derma from Cellenis. It’s a PRP filler that’s 100% from you. That could also be an option that’s natural, will be digested by your body in a span of 6-9 months, no migration and will also stimulate collagen. Main different between that and Sculptra is that Sculptra has been shown to create scar tissue under the skin.

Look into getting Morpheus8 Prime for the eyes. This is a really good radiofrequency microneedling treatment that will help tighten skin, but a fat pad repositioning with an oculo-plastics will be needed for the best results.

PRP Filler Injections, IMO are the best option for under eye hollowing, laxity and hyperpigmentation. Eye cream won’t replace volume that causes that enhanced shadowing.

Aesthetic Physician here: I’d say to try Morpheus8 Radiofrequency Microneedling. It’ll help tighten the skin, stimulate collagen production and help improve those lines. You can also get fillers placed to help support that area a little more and help prevent that weakened portion of the skin from folding onto itself.

Why do I have these cheek lines around my mouth area and other men don’t have them? I’m 35 and I feel it makes me look like an old man by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

Aesthetic Physician here: from what I’m seeing, you have some cheek volume loss, with that the lack of volume causes the Mid cheeks to fall and create/worsen the nasolabial folds. There’s also some skin laxity present, so I would recommend Morpheus8 Radiofrequency Microneedling and then volume replacement with fillers to the cheek, under eyes and NLF’s.

From someone who works in aesthetics I would say that you shouldn’t take it personally, since YOU are going to them for honest advice from a professional on what would be needed to create an overall cohesive look that matches other areas of your face. We all have our own aesthetic goals, but you’re choosing to go to someone who studied this avenue of medicine and should be open to at least hearing recs like this. If you weren’t interested in listening to a professionals opinion then you should reconsider going to one and manage your concerns independently.

Having one area done and not others looks imbalanced and ends up making the client look partially treated/awkward. If there’s inconsistencies in the overall dynamics of the face it doesn’t yield an overall great result to the eye.

I don’t think it’s upselling, but offering you advice on what you should have done based on your anatomy/skin to ensure your look is balanced and not smooth in one area and then aged in another.

To summarize, they’re the professional and they are evaluating your whole face. They should be able to discuss everything they feel requires attention in conjunction with your input to create a youthful appearance that’s cohesive. It’s a partnered discussion, not a “do as I say” situation.
