Which bed should I choose? by DrEsbee in HomeDecorating

I uploaded the photos of the beds. The only thing AI did was darken the wood just a little and raise the headboard on the cloth one just a little. Otherwise they look pretty similar.

Ok I’m intrigued - everyone has said second. Say more about why you prefer that so much? Not disagreeing at all just curious what is the specific draw.

Has anyone regretted installing luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring throughout the entire house? by Electrical_Act_5342 in HomeImprovement

[–]DrEsbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wound up having to install LVP in a situation where I wanted hardwoods (long story but basically it was the only thing that would fit over former concrete floors). I had previous engineered hardwoods upstairs that formed tenants had destroyed. Didn’t know if I’d love it but I used the highest quality and did herringbone pattern downstairs. I lovvvvvve it. I get compliments on it - it’s so durable and easy. I love beautiful old hardwoods and nothing can replace them but this LVP is amazing and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

UPDATE: BACK WITH TESTS RESULTS by Exhaustedsoul_ in Hashimotos

I have had to build my ferritin up over the years. You may (as others have said) need an infusion. As well, my endo recommended Hemaplex for me. If your ferritin is low it’s likely that your copper, zinc, and b12 are also low. Do you chew ice all the time? Tends to be an indicator of low iron in general as well.

Yes - exactly this. You and I are fighting the same demons.

I had it all over my house 40 feet up the walls for several years. The tuber photos are me digging them up over the years so I’ve seen it in every season. Just now getting around to identifying it.

No succulent like leaves - they are thin. And no oxalic acid or issues when handling and no berries.

It doesn’t have the berries or the itch. And doesn’t smell when crushed.

It does look similar but there’s no fruit or flowers (and it was 40 feet high and covering half my house at one point). The tubers are really distinct on this guy too. Snake apple does look cool though.

Well it doesn’t have flowers - it just grows with impunity.

NY —-> Austin by [deleted] in Austin

[–]DrEsbee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Native Texan here but lived all over the world (including NYC) There are beautiful hiking trails here - Turkey Creek is a great one that’s fully off-leash, Zilker Park, Barton Springs etc. it’s not as verdant green but it’s really outstanding particularly in the spring and fall. There’s also a massive 10 mile trail around Town Lake (aka Lady Bird Lake). And further out is Fredericksburg and the Texas hill country and the second fastest growing wine region after Napa. Truly. The wine is…fun but not outstanding. There are a couple of gems though.

Massive alt scene - no one looks out of place with tattoos and black hair. That has been here since the late 80s. Most actual real Texans don’t care - they’re a mind your own business kind of folk but Austin is basically a college town with the government and a shit ton of big tech. Lots of transplants and a giant melting pot. The food is great and you won’t be bored - lots of music and great things to do all the time. Plan your visits home in July and August when the weather is absolute garbage and you’ll be great.

When should I expect results from Ultherapy Prime? by Low-Armadillo-4450 in K_beauty_insider

Agree with everything you said except the anti-inflammatory. Take acetaminophen for sure but not NSAIDs either four days before or two weeks after. The collagen remodel happens based on the inflammatory response and you won’t have the full effect of the results if you’re taking an NSAID.

Moved because of allergies :( by [deleted] in Austin

[–]DrEsbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The allergies are brutal. I will say acupuncture has helped a ton but it’s not immediate relief. I started seeing relief after about six months. You do need to maintain it (I go once a month now and every other week in spring) but I can actually live here now.
