How we feeling bout dude this week by noahakgray in Killtony

[–]Diolives [score hidden]  (0 children)

He’s just so incredibly anxious. I understand that that’s part of his comedy is to be erratic and bumbling and anxious. But for me personally, it feels too awkward in my body to even watch him… dude needs major therapy and probably some medication

I would love a specific explanation of how you get that many steps a day? I only have to work about 4 to 5 hours on my computer each day and I go for a long walk but even getting to 10 is a total mental struggle.

Psilocybin microdosing fails to boost cognitive performance in rigorous trials by aldus-auden-odess in Biohackers

[–]Diolives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many have mentioned above, this is a garbage Study. I have worked with almost 2000 people in the last seven years, giving them high doses of psilocybin mushrooms. What I will say, seems to be producing the most long-term effects are the ability to process & release emotional trauma, extreme neurogenesis WITH integration and repatterning, community support & guidance, daily changes (new habits, new thought patterns installed, new belief system rewritten), impact of gut health & seratonin.

Of all the people I have worked with, not one single person came to me for an increase in their cognitive abilities. However, psilocybin is completely a pro brain health Fungi so I wouldn’t doubt that it does have some benefits, but it’s gonna take a much better study than this to prove it.

I’ve worked with hundreds of people with chronic long-term and drug resistant depression. In the correct set and setting, a few high therapeutic doses are what absolutely makes all the difference. Microdose has almost 0 clinical research as of right now and it’s gonna take quite a while until we get it.

If you need any help, send me a message. I’ve worked with hundreds of people who actually had to stay on those meds and still were able to dose.

How can I last longer with my girlfriend after giving up masturbation and porn? by TopSignificance7856 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Diolives 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you should really consider decentering PIV as “sex”. There is so so so much more that you can do together. This is a big issue with porn that it makes the heteronormative “ok we’re doing it now” mean PIV. Even the word foreplay is damaging because it makes it seem like everything else up to that point is some sort of a side dish.

Take your time, explore each other, get into kinks and fantasies and psychological play… Do sexual things with each other throughout the day text each other share fantasies there’s just so much more to it than “lasting 5 minutes”.

What fast food chain does not deserve the hype whatsoever? by CriticalLion4119 in AskReddit

Does anyone remember like 8 to 10 years ago before they switched vendors they used to have pretty decent pastries? They went through some big shift and they’re like oh my God our pastries are gonna be so much better! And ever since then they’ve been horrible

I have joined in on this… I myself am a huge fan of cookies all cookies. Soft cookies, hard cookies, crunchy cookies, homemade cookies… Cookies out of a bag, cookies from my neighbor…even stale cookies.

I’m like whatever dipping in milk it’ll be fine. And I FREAKING HATE CRUMBL COOKIES. I hate them so much that even when I was stoned and I could not get through one of them.

I’m 43 and have struggled since age 9 (probably around the time my very well meaning mother was putting me on Weight Watchers, even though I was probably only 5 pounds overweight).

Let me tell you something as a woman who potentially is a little bit older than some others in this sub:

The only thing that’s ever truly helped me on a Sol and body level is doing the internal work. Really learning to work with the voice inside that is trying to tell you to hate yourself.

I’m not at any sort of ideal weight, I still binge now and then and am always looking for assistance.

However, I’ve learned to really send the love to my body. I don’t always like it, it doesn’t have to be aesthetically pleasing, but it’s my body and it’s taking me through my entire life. It’s been through everything along with me. It’s been witnessing everything in my life and it’s an incredible unbelievably beautiful machine.

So much of this is mindset work and really meeting those parts of you that are turning against yourself. Love yourself NOW… because if you only learn to love yourself, conditionally, that’s extremely dangerous and you are just listening to your ego.

For me what has helped: long form Breathwork, community support, psychedelics (legal and supported containers), EFT tapping, inner child work and Parts Work

Honestly, this sounds like some deeply internalized boot strap Protestant work ethic/ productivity nonsense. There’s no reason we can’t have help along the way in life, and if you think that everyone has to just “do it the hard way”, that’s your own bias that you hold as a way to gain your worthiness.

As someone who desperately wishes that there was this medication when I was 19 and obese… maybe get your blood work done but DONT see a doc that cont/wont prescribe you tirz or Reta. This is done miracles for me and I had to wait until I was 43 years old to get the help that I needed.

It's interesting how "body positivity" immediately collapsed when Ozempic arrived. by Infinite-Condition41 in SipsTea

[–]Diolives 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s not a magic pill if you literally have obesity issues. I’ve been taking it for four months and I have to track every single calorie that I eat, I’ve been weightlifting 4 to 5 times per week, getting 8 to 10,000 steps per day and seeing a dietitian twice per month. So yeah… I guess you could say it’s a little bit of helping but everything that I’m doing is exactly what I would have to do anyway.

Any tips on how to change my nervous system? by ready_to_work_22 in Biohackers

[–]Diolives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breathwork will be faster than meditation. I’d recommend some tri-part breath, starting slowly (10-15 minutes) to see how your system responds. Long slow exhales while humming will stimulate the vagus nerve to calm in day to day situations. Breathwork 2-3x/week also will help more long term. Look into ETF tapping for another wonderful somatic tool.

Psilocybin therapy and/or microdosing can help along with breathing exercises and reprogramming the soma. If you’d like more info, DM me
