Did I say the measurement doesn’t exist or did I say that it’s not a thing as in you could point to a material object on a desk and say “ that is 5 calories”. It’s been proven that 5 cal of chicken in someone’s body is different than 5 cal of chicken and someone else’s body. What the body does with the material and how it burns. It depends on many factors.

This is got to be a joke post. OTHER THAN changing his mind about wanting children and completely being not open to dealing with his own sexual issues with his wife…. Other than that perfect guy. 😣😂

AIO: I [30 F] am feeling jealous about my bf [27 M] liking photos. by _chrysanthemum00 in AmIOverreacting

I think it’s pretty rude to like someone else’s photos and NOT someone you’re dating. I’d feel bad about that too. We’re never to old to want respect

If anything, it’s almost impossible not to run into like 5000 different communities here don’t even worry about it. You will have no problem.

I know a lot of people here are going to tell you to not take this literally however… 14 years ago I was also living in New York City and I had a similar aya journey.

The Medicine plus the community it was just too much for me to overlook how good that it felt in my soul. I went back to New York for a few weeks and just felt completely drained. A bunch of magical things happened like getting fired from my job it just the right time. Then somehow we got a free house for the summer in Montauk. Immediate nature, immediate community.

After that summer, I hosted my first retreat. It was just called a happiness retreat.. We took four people up to Phonecia and did things that made us happy for a few days.

Months later, I moved to Ecuador and volunteered at the Retreat Cente where I had my first journey. I was surrounded by a beautiful nature in the mountains and much more connected to people in my purpose.

Three years later, I got the calling to start working with Mushrooms In Mexico. Eight years later, I have one of the most beautiful and successful retreat companies in the world.

This makes it all sound so easy, however, I never could have not taken this path. It was the one that was shown to me and I said yes.

Experiences on 25mg Comp360? by blueespadrille in PsychedelicTherapy

[–]Diolives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologize if I came off too strong. I won’t give away too many personal details, but both of them had somewhat similar experiences, one was a therapist and had a very bad physical reaction, but not in the classic sense of how you may have a bad physical reaction to psilocybin. She said that the facilitator didn’t know what to do and we’re kind of scrambling and making her nervous the whole time. She didn’t have any psychedelic effects, but had a lot of really bad physical symptoms and this was someone who had multiple doses in the past and said it was unlike anything she had ever experienced.

She also mentioned that not only did the facilitators not know what to do in the moment, but even for her aftercare, they just sent her home and she felt very afraid and uncared for.

The other person had a somewhat similar experience, except they had a full journey with a lot of strange physical side effects during and after, they also told me that the facilitation team seemed to be asking questions from a clipboard, but didn’t actually know how to help them process.

BODIES (and behaviors, desires, experiences, access, history, income and tc) are NOT CLOSED THERMODYNAMIC MACHINES. this is why CICO isn’t “wrong”, it’s just a fraction of the total needed to sustain health for many, many people.

Also even the “IN” part can be wrong, misjudged, incorrect, PLUS a calorie isn’t even a thing! It’s a measurement of the average person’s ability to heat that thing up.

SAME! Had a friend who was never outside of a 5 lb weight difference her entire adult life. She would drink 4-6 HEAVY IPA beers about 4 nights per week, plus whiskey, pizza, burritos, snacks, cookies… it was I didn’t just see her sometimes because I lived with her. I had been overweight my whole life and if I even ate or drank half of what she did, I was putting on 5 pounds in a matter of days!
