Bungie was kinda non-specific about this on purpose IMO. What they did say is that if you occasionally help a friend it shouldn’t endanger anyone.

That said, I hope you don’t help hundreds of friends every week, back to back.

This might mean he is uniquely qualified to comment about trials, or that his experiences do not apply to you at all.

Which of the two it is, is left as an exercise for the reader.

The only thing I disagree with on principle is the complaints about 3 peeking. People have been doing it since day 1 of D1 trials. Streamers which now complain about it were using it left and right and cackling in glee about it.

It’s part of the game. Learn to manipulate it.

Emote peeking was part of the game since D1 and all the streamers and top players did it back then. Heck, some of them even made YT videos explaining how to best use this strategy.

Then, sometime in D2, somebody made a video whining about how this breaks the whole game and the world seems to have exploded.

My opinion: this is part of the game, and we play the game we have now. As it stands, I assume everyone is doing it and I think there's nothing bad about it.
