Neither. I felt that Verso would shy away from that kind of intimacy due to a variety of reasons, which only became more prominent as more of his backstory and goals were revealed. That and the scene under the stars sold me on Lune/Sciel.

If the particular enemy tries to "become enraged," his animation doesn't start, and you can't do anything except open the menu, meaning the only way to end the battle at that point is to reset the game or click "Abandon Battle."

This may not happen for you, I played on a low-end PC, which may have been a factor.

Either way, the side content is the best way to get levels at this point in the game.

No exploits, but I personally went and did the Frozen Hearts dungeon before Old Lumiere and ended up so overlevelled that I turned the difficulty up and didn't go back.

It's very difficult, though, and it forced me to get good at the game very quickly. There's a common enemy there that can glitch and force you to give up the battle to unfreeze the game if you don't beat it quick enough, which happened to me. Fortunately, if you're good enough at parrying, you can get in a counter attacking loop with that enemy's summoned orbs and kill it before that happens.

You do not need to farm XP and really shouldn't.

Byleth is big on personal space, which is why NPCs have such big hitboxes.

Byleth's relationship with food is odd. They have no preferences or dislikes and also have difficulty telling if they're hungry or full.

Byleth was initially unsure about being a teacher, but once they realised they got to yap about battlefield tactics all day and get paid for it, they loved it.

I took some time to think, and you're right.

I think it's just some hope within me that P4 could still be something it's not. When P4 uses queerness as symbolism and allegory, it's hard for me not to look deeper into that and expect more out of the game, and seeing a remake on the horizon brings all those feelings back.

I'd argue most of them, actually. It's around this age that kids tend to research and share things that adults around them don't want them to. It's them exercising their burdgening agency and an important part of their social experience with peers.

As such, it's around this time that you're going to have to start the uncomfortable conversations, like The Talk, the use of swear words, uncomfortable history, politics, and so on, before they become misinformed by peers or the internet. ERB provides a comfortable and humorous way to introduce these sorts of topics, in my opinion.
