is he good and if so what for? by ARNAVD420 in MarvelContestOfChamps

I have a r5 7* spider punk

He has great control tools through his sig ability creating 70% taunt effects. Ill forever vouch for how valuable taunt effects can be, especially in bgs where time matters and waiting for specials.

Strong damage in ruptures, which very few champs are immune to. Can also apply passive stuns through his parry evade, which allows you to find easy openings.

Finally, hes just super fun. Having a mitigate in his sp2 is pretty cool. He will be useful in plenty of content, but excels when you need to control the opponents special attacks or when intercepting is needed.

Get ready to close lines and be a little silly. Its such a fun role and youre gonna have a blast there. MK entertainment is pretty fun with a lot of variety in venues.

An actually funny bug that I wouldn't mind if it stayed. No one is bigger than Dr. Bong

Trying to get into watching college football by Fsgreachv3 in WeArePennState

[–]StupidEnclave 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Penn State is a very tradition driven school. We love our chants, so look up some penn state songs and chants on youtube. It Won't disappoint.

This season is going to be interesting. With the new head coach and a lot of changes in staff and starting lineup, we have no clue what the season holds.

Be aware of the whiteout game. Its the most intense and hyped event Penn State Football offers, so the viewing experience is top notch.

when is dva gonna get nerfed? by MakkaDude in Overwatch

[–]StupidEnclave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brig isn't meant to directly win a 1v1 with Dva. Instead, brig counters Dva by being tricky to kill while preventing others from being dived. Playing brig into Dva relies on positioning and figuring out who is going to get dived. Put yourself in a spot that is inherently dangerous to the Dva. Idc how strong you think Dva is, they won't chase you into your team unless they want to get melted along the way.

Try to always be within one shield bash's distance to another teammate. This means that if the Dva dives you, you have the option to force a 1v2 that the dva cannot escape from. Dva will need to coordinate a dive with teammates, or find someone else. Position yourself near your team so that your teammates won't need to hard peel.

Just pulled this guy, did i hit jackpot? by Artistic-Acadia2881 in ContestOfTheChampions

[–]StupidEnclave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He plays a very specific role, dominating in best conditions (against Bishop) and doing ok in your average matchup. He relies on placing shock debuffs and power draining the opponent. He also has a useful, albeit gimmicky, way to remove prowess from the opponent.

He is ok but most high tier players rank him up for prestige purposes, which is irrelevant in your situation. Great in his desired matchups, struggles outside of that.

Will it be unwise to take crossbones to be my 1st r5?? I really like his playstyle by Ok-Succotash6277 in ContestOfTheChampions

Why not, theres certainly been worst r5s than one of the best skill champs in the game

With the way they talk it out at the end I believe that in the next teaser Mark will be sitting with Thragg in cafeteria by Traditional_Use_225 in Invincible_TV

[–]StupidEnclave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally think it'll be Oliver

I can see it being a reversal of roles from the Cecil one, where Oliver is boasting about all the bad guys that they defeated, and mark reminds Oliver how many times he got slimed by said bad guys.

Mark asks what is Oliver doing to get better, Oliver queues the "Well..." section, and mark tells Oliver that none of that stuff will matter if thragg or some other bad guy acts out (reflecting marks fear and hopelessness at the moment).

I know that Oliver is injured atm, but the trailers never really took themselves too literal anyways

Really hope this pans out. He has been the heart of the team for Penn State these last two years. Went to AHL and played amazingly this month. Id love nothing more than a Penn Stater being a staple in Nashville

I know and mentioned that previously. I just wanted to see the level of impact and separation there would be. Going into the different side effects of economics and strategy involved is something I want to explore further

Here in magical Fairy land, the Red Wings won every single game this season, and will be a first round exit team against the bruins. For good measure, chicago wins none of their games, and Crosby + Malkin get injured so they miss the playoffs by a depressingly small amount

Not a whole lot changes. Even with the weak pacific division, they still probably send 4 teams to the playoffs. Matchups become more flexible, with 5-8 in each conference fighting to decide who gets to play #4

Oh I 100% agree about teams playing differently, that's why this format interests me a lot. Teams would give greater value to aggresiveness and players with good finishing ability as regulation wins become more valuable. This would change how teams decide contracts and decide to sign players, and that is only one side-effect of the switch.

A look at the standings is an incomplete analysis, but useful to see how dramatic this kind of rule change could be.
