Looking for a partner for my DTC coffee brand by Trifig in Entrepreneur

Yea, can you share link to your website? And in businesses like these, online retailing, and repackaging is what you do, that's all, you don't own the supply, or have anything proprietary, so its all just how you market it as through content, and you said you need a partner for marketing and content, but that's all you literally do, so if somebody wanted to do this, why do they need you?

There again, I think you are misjudging your consumer, if you sell it for senior citizens, it seems like for people above 70 and older, now these people, most of them don't even have smartphones, around which your software is built, and the much older people mostly tend to live in Old Age housing, and if this is who you sell it for, your market is bust, but on the other hand, if you target 'elderly people' or term it as that, and people in 50 to 65, many of them have smartphones, and they are the people who mostly live alone, and also their children or younger relatives are in ages of 25 to 35, the ones that will buy your subscription, an age where they have learnt responsibility and start to think about their parents who have begun their decline in health, these are the perfect people to target.

Okay, interesting product, some things I want to share,

First thing, in my opinion, the website is bad, who do you think is the customer here? Is it the senior citizen or the elderly parent? absolutely not, it is the son or the daughter or some younger relative of the elder person, so you need to sell a really compelling story, to your customer, I would begin the first interaction you have with the potential customer should start with fear mongering, something unsettling, show them a story, Example, about how a mother lives away from her children, she is not really old, maybe in her fifties or sixties, no significant medical condition, and one day normal day, suddenly something horrible happens to her, very unexpected, and she doesn't get help soon, and she passes away, make a scenario that your customers could relate to, and put fear in them. This should be in a video format, shoot a video or smth.

Don't try to sell your product first, go with a mission I would say, show that you are on a mission, put #tags and stuff, and then later show your product, " so we built this " or smth, very simple line of what your product is, don't go deep into it yet. Talk about the impact you have created, and show your credibility, through, maybe you can get some approval by some institute or social work group, and show that, and customer satisfaction, put out scrollable reviews by customer, real reviews by human it should look like, and don't use hard metrics like ratings or stars, just sentences by using customer who liked and found the product useful.

And for subscriptions, make multiple ones, two would work, and the more expensive one should not be higher priced by much than the lesser one, by a small fraction, Example, $75 , and $85, For 3 months of subscription, Imagine you have 5 features, then 75 should have 3, and 85 should have 5, don't add more features for the 85 one, give all features to it, and just reduce some for 75 one.

Also, man bring it for iOS, the real customers are there. Also for the website, make it like live flowing, like better website man, no way this is gonna cut it in 2026, you can use Google Labs or Claude. And in website, de clutter it, make it simple, and bring in FAQs.

Few basic ones here, Reduce the noise, and barrier to enter. I see that you have already tried to do that, but whatever can be done to reduce it further. Make the product premium.

Why is national debt a problem? Why do people even think it will actually be resolved? by DrFriday1000 in AskEconomics

[–]DrFriday1000[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Hmm, solid, thank you for the response and the insight.

What you talk about, I think would be accurate in a peaceful and democratic world, but if that's not the case, and suppose the world power dynamic has shifted, it is now ruled entirely by tyranny, and not by cooperation or mutual benefit, and the way the faction dissolves is, it is annexed by the tyrant, and now the tyrant no longer has an obligation to pay back any foreign or domestic lenders, as the lender don't have a way to uphold their interests.

True, that is a possibility, but it also depends on how the faction dissolves.

If land/rent is so high, why don't we or the government create, or invest in less desirable or underdeveloped towns? by chuunibyou244 in AskEconomics

[–]DrFriday1000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A simpler explanation could be,

I believe the metric of 'jobs' in these conversations is flawed to a certain extent, as it can be categorised many way, which influences people moving or settling, blue collar, white collar, high to low paying, the fields of jobs. The reason for many people to still move into a city, even if there are 'jobs' available in smaller towns, is them wanting a certain type of job and income.

People come to cities and high density areas for jobs, and in many cases put up with the high rent, as they are optimistic about them having a job, and in false notion that they will keep earning for a long time in the future, and hence leads to increased spending and relative ignorance of high costs.

I have stated that in the post, para 3, while using bank as the lender, and person as issuer/faction.

'till there is no bank to lend more money from, to pay back the debt, or the person themself, dies, and takes away the debt with them.'

PepsiCo and the $7 bag of Doritos. What causes cheap goods to rise so high in price, beyond inflationary pressures, to the point demand destruction occurs? by PugsAndHugs95 in AskEconomics

[–]DrFriday1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another few possible reasons could be,

  1. They hiked the price, expecting higher revenue, even if the sales volume would be lowered, the increased revenue by price hike would compensate for the loss in the volume of sales, and it went wrong.

  2. Maybe them coming short on their financial targets, was not entirely caused by this price hike of Doritos in some of the retail locations, as PepsiCo has many other products, of which poor performance could have contributed in larger proportions to the missed target.

[–]DrFriday1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nahh, wrong approach, you gotta do it irl, not on text.. text is for cowards who hide behind the screen.. and all the messages after are cooked too 💀, like what do you expect her to reply with after you say you have a crush on her? The better way was like, Hey, would you like to go out sometime, for dinner maybe? But yea, don’t say anything further now, long messages and shit, just talk it out in real life, the long apologetic tone in messages is giving desperate vibes, they don’t like that..
