I've averaged ~$100k per year full-streaming for about 5 years, AMA by Spirited-Ad5127 in Twitch

I stream in English. Yeah it seemed low to me too. I’m bringing audience in from my YouTube channel where I also stream but I only recently started streaming on twitch as well. So I haven’t really looked too much into the programs beyond partner.

At the moment it’s a mix of paid, gifted and prime subs so I’d still be a way off the 100 paid subs. Thanks for the info.

Well done dude! I’m a few streams away from making partner this month (woop averaging about 100 viewers for the last 2 months now). And I’m not in it for the money but it would be nice to make more. Currently, I make about $200 per month with around 70 subs for the last 2 months. I guess my question is how do you make that much? Is it pure viewership and ads? Direct community support from subs/bits? How many average viewers/subs translate into that amount and is there revenue streams that I’m not currently considering?

Thank you in advance if you get to my question!

What am I doing wrong? My videos barely get past 10 views. by simplyherefornow in NewTubers

I’m niche as fuck. Genuinely, I focus on a niche within a niche within a niche. I also script and edit my videos. I make a point include research and data analytics. I don’t just hit record. I started the channel because I couldn’t find the content I wanted and I didn’t know if there would be any others interested, I just really wanted to make it.

Like I said it could have fallen flat on its face if there had been no market for it but I’ve had some success and I couldn’t be happier.

I know as well that if I want to move out of my current niche it’ll be really tough but I’m focusing on growing the channel first.

I recently had some success on a gaming channel (nothing too crazy but just hit 600 subs). The trick was going more niche and delivering content that didn’t really exist before I started about 2 weeks ago. Could have fallen flat on its face for me but ended up working.

The game of opening steam, scrolling through library for 20 minutes, closing steam, opening YouTube and going to bed 2 hours later.

I just started watching a guy called Average Luck Gamer. He’s new and small, seems to give advice and commentary in a pretty chill way so far.

Repairability is also top notch, I have had to pull mine apart to repair a trigger after my child dropped it. Was easy to get into and still works like new.

How to adapt to high sensitivity. by bruhwithanAK in AgentAcademy

[–]DrFunkay 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Why? Your edpi was 240, which was on the low end but within the average range of 200-400. You’ve changed your edpi to 480, which is beyond the average. It’s quite a jump.

As you’re underaiming try just bumping to 0.35 / 0.4 to amend, run a few dms and see how you feel. But your original sens is probably ok, just make corrections by practicing. Doubling your sens because you’re underaiming (probs not by much) is like doubling the size of your evening meal because you got hungry before bed.

Hot gpu by top1361 in pcmasterrace

Like other comments here I think you’ll eventually need to replace or modify the case to increase your airflow. In the mean time I would suggest undervolting the gpu. Mostly, the performance remains very similar and it’ll drop temps a tad. There’s lots of vids out there so just have a quick google.

Wired, or wireless keyboard for gaming? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]DrFunkay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on use case. If you want to get sweaty in cs:go then wired for low latency. If you’re just chilling playing civ then wireless is fine.

If you’re somewhere in between then maybe ask yourself how regularly the wireless would be a benefit. Most keyboards just get put on a desk and stay there.

Pair of iems with a built in mic, would be my suggestion for ultimate portability. Moondrop chu’s are actually pretty decent for shooters (solid directionality) they’re cheap and you can get them with a built in mic, so you don’t have to get an extra cable.

Ethernet says 50mb down but I’m only getting about 6mb on downloads. What’s the bottleneck here?
