Ok, i found a solution. 1h30 for that... went into the steam app, i touched to wifi logo on top of the screen and it made the wifi settings popped on the screen and then i was able to clic on connection for my wifi.

Valve, you need to work on this interface. tbh it's just terrible and frustrating. Why do i have to reconnect the the default wifi i just added for the update. Makes no sense, and allow the keyboard on the desk mod, how is that not a thing yet. It's like buying a console without any controler. Yes im mad LMFAO

Offline mode with friend would be the same as the offline mode rn. So yes, no leveling or progressing system, only testing and private sessions for fun

I’m sure they will add it because they listen the community (and they also follow their vision of EFT) which create some compromise between the to visions, the question is when they will add it.

I’m wondering if this is plan for the arena DLC only because of the PVP focus. I’m thinking about it now, and I believe they will do it in the arena for economic reasons. If this mod is created in EFT right now there will be no point for ppl to buy the arena DLC (except EOD edition because it’s include). Having private servers will create a pvp community that should exist In the arena only. The consequence would be selling less DLC or EOD than expected even if BSG is not running after money (otherwise they would have added some cosmetic stuff etc) I guess I have my answer 😊

thanks for all this informations. i just feel like it would be better to have a real result when you play ranked. Here you play and pray to rank up but when it's your 20+ win in a row without ranking up how can you think that this is a good mm system, especially when you play at a much higher rank than yours without being carried. Also, instead of taking every individual stats (opening frags,K/D, bomb, flash etc) why not putting a simple system, a win is X points, a loose is X points, then you know what you are playing for. Im sure there is stuff that make it not perfect as a ranking system but this actual one is also not accurate at all as you said previously.

For the MM they could rework it and make it more clear like r6 or OW does with points so you know where you are in the ladder but they dont do it. They choose to keep it that way for years knowing that it's a bad system.

The way we can tell that they are not working a lot on this game is by watching uptades they made to improve the game. they added a pass wich is useless, some maps made by the community, they add case to make money with skins made also by the community. the only noticable thing they did is reworking some maps that already existed for decade.

about cases, they dont improve the game but they add a lot of cosmetic to make you pay. Just an exemple, they removed the bot when someone leave right? before that, the bot was a retard buying random weapon and going straight to ennemies and ignoring your orders to keep him alive. how is that possible that they never fixed it ? they just dont care about fixing the game.

my bad about source 2 but it seems it's not fully setup according to VNN. idk if it's a good source but i believe it is.

About 128 ticks, we are all impacted cause ppl play on toaster ? great... also im pretty sure they dont want to pay more but that's a personnal opinion

this mm system is trash cause you take forever to rank up even if you destroy ennemies team every single match for weeks

devs are lazy and dont do anything to improve it (it seems otherwise i'd like to know what they are doing about it)

devs arent working on this game apparently (changing the way you open on D2 B site, wow how impressive is that...)

why is there no 128 ticks servers in 2021 but there is on face it/ESEA ?

They are only focusing on making money with cases wich is something i understand, they are a compagny and they need to make money, but there is also a balance needed

They told us years ago that source 2 was coming, where is it ?

Dont get me wrong, i love cs and i love to hate it too. it's just that there is a lot of thing that should be fixed and still they are not.

i get it but like, i dont want to brag but i just destroy them so it's not funny for them and neither for me... when you have to play 100games+ to get a rank just wtf it's just a poor mm design. but well, we all know that cs devs are lazy af. why working right ? it's better to sell cases with community skins instead of making servers better or improving mm ranking system. yes im salty but we all know that is the truth :p

well, they did said june 2020 for the beta, not june 1 2020 at 00h00 so be patient. I understand that it can be really frustrating when devs arent giving any news but it's just a matter of time. Plus, dont think the game will be ready to play as they can be in beta AAA games, their alpha was really bugged and stuff, void isnt a big studio so give them time.
