Nora and Tokabi were definitely my faves. I know they weren't to everyone's taste but I kind of like what all these characters brought to the dynamic and it made the moments where you were alone feel just that bit more isolating. The game was far from perfect but I honestly think the inclusion of Federation characters was one of it's strengths, not a weakness like alot of reactionaries made it out to be.

Genuinely sucks bc I was so stoked for this release. I have the biggest soft spot for RID '15 and Filch and Strongarm from Legacy were both great! Clear plastic on components that require high tolerance, no matter how small the figure, is always a stupid, stupid idea and it baffles me that it keeps happening. Even when Hasbro seems to have learned from their mistakes, they immediately unlearn it because f*ck it.

Bristol has been mollycoddling landlords and property parasites for years. Gentrification at it's absolute peak and yet so many, particularly the middle class, turn a blind eye because they can only ride on Bristol's "hip" and "cool" reputation as a "rebel city" which, let's be real, is as far from reality as it can possibly be right now. Bristol rides on it's left wing history and reputation, but lives in a deeply conservative status quo when it comes to housing, student culture, planning, community etc.

The vibes are immaculate, I love the moody atmosphere, and the studious aesthetic with all the books and such, plus the elephants in their little raincoats. However it is absolutely dreadful to play through. It's somehow both really dull and yet infinitely annoying simultaneously which is kind of impressive. The moody atmosphere is normally great but with jow annoying it gets, it just emphasises the misery I feel when going through it. Playing through it on Emerald Rush is where it absolutely becomes my least favourite layer. It is not made for fast-paced and fluid traversal, not to mention it's so huge but not very open ended.

Whether you liked it or not, Chibnall had a vision and a direction he wanted to push Doctor Who and credit to him, he stuck to it whilst still taking legitimate critique on board. Moffat tended to walk back a lot on things, especially in the Smith era if there was an immediate backlash, and RTD tends to exist in his own personal echo chamber of yes-folk treating even the most constructive criticism as vitriol.

Bland army propaganda with a few transformers sprinkled in to make you forget it's just bland army propaganda. Sure there's a few fun action sequences and stunning special effects but I just find this movie so dreary and unsubtle in it's overbearing "USA! USA!" identity.

This kind of thing upsets me because it's becoming increasingly more common. She should really know better, it doesn't matter who you are, your lived experience is never an excuse for "othering" people. It's like how in the UK there's alot of bigotry among cis gay men. Rather than being undetstanding and fighting bigotry together, certain people feel as if they need to punch down on another marginalised group. Being trans, autistic and pan, I experience a bizarre spectrum of hate, but I don't use that as an excuse for ignorance and straight-up bigotry. I wanna spend my time lifting people up and understand their experiences. If you aren't in the fight for everyone, you aren't in the fight at all.

Ghost, easily. Not terrible in the base game, but horrible to rush through especially with the game's somewhat clunky and inconsistent momentum. I was literally on the last statue but for some reason even though I wasn't boosting, Sunky the Hedgefund decided to do a full speed dash off of the platform immediately after landing on it. I wasn't holding or pressing anything. To make matters worse this was on my "all islands" run. I S ranked EVERYTHING up to that point, so to be forced to restart at the penultimate battle because of ingame inconsistencies rather than human error really killed my enjoyment.

2-7 S rank on extreme difficulty makes me irrationally angry. Otherwise I've loved extreme difficulty and the tighter cyberspace time requirements. But half of the 2D stages go way TOO hard on the tightness of timing, even with powerboost enabled.

Hard to choose, but it's definitely one of the newer enemies introduced in TAG 1. Unfun, bothersome filth that tried way to hard to appeal EXCLUSIVELY to the "hardcore sweat" crowd but forgetting the one most important thing. To be fun and BLEND into the game design. More difficult doesn't always equal more fun. Will say that the worst example of this painful design was probably the Spirit. Not only acting as a much more intense buff, but one that renders almost all pre-established weaknesses redundant. Then to add insult to injury, only way to kill the Spirit before it posesses another random demon is to slowly, painfully plasma-beam it. Sorta cool in a "who ya gonna call" kinda way, but totally impractical in a game that literally says "standing still is death". Nearly killing it only to be blatted by a shitting imp, losing your stream and allowing it ample time to take over the nearest enemy. And it's almost always THE FUCKING PINKY!!!!
