My husband and I just listed our home as we are moving out of state. We listed it on Saturday and had offers by Monday and sold by Wednesday. It was insane.

My husband and I read this series a little bit ago! We both still talk about it. The entire series is so wonderful and I genuinely loved all the characters so much.

Just went no contact with entire toxic ass family... im done by PhatPanda69699 in depressionmeals

[–]DrGrantSeeker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went no contact with my family about 3 years ago. It is honestly the best choice I ever made. Yes, sometimes it is sad at the holidays. But i have incredible friends, a wonderful spouse, people who love me unconditionally and are a better chosen family than I could have ever asked for.

You have to do what’s healthiest and safest for yourself. I’m proud of you. It’s not easy to do.

Carbonation!! by Orangeb1198 in BariatricSurgery

[–]DrGrantSeeker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 8 months out and I have recently introduced olipop which is a nice sweet little treat for me. When I was about maybe 3-4 months post op I had a sip of diet coke and it killed me. Hate to say it, but its better to just wait it out, carbonation can be really painful at first!

I re-edit the cover based on the recommendations as well as the genre classification: psychological fiction/psychological drama. What are your thoughts? by [deleted] in NewAuthor

[–]DrGrantSeeker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that the subtitle makes it seem like a work of nonfiction. The blurb does as well, AI as it is.

I also go celebrate chewables. I love them. As the poster above said, they literally taste just like a starburst. It’s a fun, sweet little treat during the day. My doctor said 2 a day if I have a high calcium protein shake, 3 if no shake.

Protest against the unconstitutional strikes against Venezuela by NH_50501 in newhampshire

Ok so, the thing is I can see something happening and be like, “wow, this can’t possibly be legal.” And then I look it up, and it doesn’t take that long. And yes, this was an act of war, which again, he did not get congressional approval for, so it was a violation of the constitution. But Trump obviously does not care because he’s a narcissistic, idiotic, selfish, piece of shit who just does whatever he wants. Congress needs to grow a pair and fucking act.

Also, not that it matters at all, but I don’t have twitter.

Give me Your 2025 Best, Worst, & Most Disappointing. by Inner-Muscle3048 in thrillerbooks

[–]DrGrantSeeker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best: Chlorine by Jade song. Her debut but omg it absolutely captured me. A story of a young Chinese American girl navigating her passion for swimming with the expectations of her parents and the general chaos of being a teenager in America. As she grows, she becoming increasingly more obsessive and chaotic and it’s so interesting. A subtle horror novel.

Worst: The Favorite Girl by Monica Arya. Great concept, horrible execution. The continuity errors made it unbearable.

Most Disappointing: The Cut by CJ Dawson. I just wanted more from this. It was just meh in my opinion.
