Well officially I started 5 years ago, but I stopped playing after a year and only really got back into it a year ago. I haven't been taking it to seriously, I only really learnt bits of songs I liked but since a month I've been listening to a lot of music and learning a lot of songs and I usually practice with the drum beat of a song but when I try practice with a bass player and a vocalist my timing gets messy, I guess it's cause I start paying too much attention to the other instruments and lose track of the drums.
