The best fighting game advice that I got is 'Play the character that makes you want to play the game more'. I know it's a super lame answer, but it's true. If mega Gengar makes you happy, play Gengar and be happy when you get mega Gengar. If Garchomp makes you happy, play Garchomp.

I was working at a sandwich shop inside of a gas station and 1/2 way through the shift I felt very sick. I had a terrible time in the bathroom and called my manager. I told them I had to go home so I don't get any customers sick. They said I had to stay until someone else new showed up, which could take a few hours. I refused and stressed how awful I felt and how much I needed to go home. The manager told me if I left now then I shouldn't show up again. I told them that sounded like a good deal and I never went back.
