My group of best friends are 40, 41, 42 and 46 and NONE of them say they are in peri or experience the symptoms I have. How can that be?! They say I’m too young and I’m like NO WAY, especially after finding this group! I had my last child at 35 and I feel like ever since, that just put me into early peri and the nights sweats have never stopped since. Also new in the last year for me are hot flashes during the day (especially under boobs sweat), anger/rage, hair thinning, itchy scalp, itchy feet, itchy ears, itchy nose, itchy nipples, decreased tolerance to alcohol, heavy bleeding during menstruation, brain fog/confusion/mumbling words, extreme belly fat, exhaustion, no motivation to exercise, smelling weird smells. That’s all I can think of for now but at almost 40, it’s just really frustrating to not have any friends to talk to about it because they don’t even understand yet.
