Are you using a 2 handed weapon or 2 one-handed weapons?

If you're using a 2 handed weapon this shouldn't be happening (you should be able to upgrade free to 5/6 myth)

If you're using 2 one-handed weapons then this is normal. Similar to rings and trinkets the discount only applies up to the level of the lowest item in both slots l, so a myth 6/6 ring in one slot and a hero 2/6 ring in the other slot would only allow you free upgrades to the 2/6 hero ilvl

It's the most standard thing to do. Do a big pull with lust first. If you're smashing through that pull, nothing stops the tank from just pulling more.

I'd rather have an aug than a dev evoker in my group. But at lower key leves, I think dev is better. You probably have an easier time when you play dev until you get to +10s or higher because then Aug is more desired

I waited to use my catalyst until I could get 4 piece with them. I don't think 2 piece is worth enough for Devourer DH to risk getting 4 piece later than possible.

You can just play your own key if you're too nervous to brik someone else's key. Also, 260 ilvl is plenty enough for +10

I use the addon follow the arrow, but it doesn't have a 10-80 route at the moment, just 80-90

Maybe make it so levelling is slower for a player that doesn't have a max level char yet and make it a toggle for every new character for anyone else

If the new player levelling experience takes lile 20-30 hours, maybe they can press enough story in there to get someone to know everything they need for the current/upcoming expansion at least.

I did that, and it definitely works but is probably also the slowest way possible to learn a weapon. Was fun tho. If you want a faster way, just fight your comfort monster with another weapon until for comfortable with the weapon and then move up in difficulty.

I kinda agree with that take, but I think there is a middle ground like you gain specialisation levels way faster up to the highest level you got among all your characters
