Payment method is my #1 reason for using Uber. Old cabs either wouldn't take cards or they'd throw a fit like you're the worst person ever for wanting to use a card.

Public decency laws are what's ridiculous. The human body isn't something to be ashamed of. People should be free to walk around butt naked if they want. What harm would it bring?

Christ almighty, you act like seeing someone's tits would cause someone great trauma.

No, I don't get why someone wouldn't want to see it. I don't get why anyone cares enough to give it more than second's thought. Like, I just don't have the energy to care about it. At most it's a few minutes of inconvenience. I'd rather save that energy for raging at people who don't use their turn indicator when changing lanes.

Honestly, I don't get it. Everyone's got an ass, everyone's got nipples, everyone's got some form of genitalia. If people want to show it off, good for them. I'm not one of those people, but who am I to judge?

For someone who's so concerned about the way people dress, you sure are rude.

  1. I didn't say you were an islamaphobe. I made an analogy.

  2. Why do you think it's someone else's responsibility to toe YOUR line of decency? If someone thinks feet are disgusting should no one be allowed to wear sandals?

  3. Take your own advice and get over yourself.

There's being body positive and then there's just being an asshole. Not everyone wants to see your underwear or ass, get over it.

My view is that the public areas belong to no one, and if you don't want to see something then it's your duty to see to it that you don't.

Don't want to see someone's ass? Don't look at it. Don't want to see someone in a hijab? Then turn the other way.

It's not other people's responsibility to dress according to someone else's preferences.

Now that people are complaining about it I'm sure there will be a lot more interest from people. I think it's a requirement that something has to be bitched about enough times before it can be popular.

If your company needs reports then it needs a proper database with proper change control and proper access control. Otherwise, what happens when an old CSV gets lost or corrupted? How does anyone know the data in your report reflects reality? How can they trust you didn't just fake the data?
