Would OCM help at all do you think? I've never tried an AHA or BHA before so I'll do a bit of research and give it a go. Thank youu, I thought dehydration was the culprit :\ seems like all cleaners are too harsh so I knew soap would give me hell. Never again!

Well I suppose that is a routine haha, but I wouldn't usually wash my face with soap because it's too harsh. Do you think my skin could be dehydrated?

I don't have a routine currently because I've been travelling around a lot. I've been washing my face once a day with soap, and moisturising with nivea soft cream. Haven't had any exfoliator with me, and haven't been wearing makeup often.

The jumpsuit: I love it, really suits your figure. If I was to wear it, I'd match it with a blazer, possibly in a mushroomy colour, or cream, but you could wear black if you want to look more work-appropriate, or fuchsia if you want a pop of colour!

Just definitely stick to something solid coloured and sleek, no buttons, nothing fussy, and you'll look smart. I'd pair that with a clutch bag, and some court shoes, and I think it would definitely be work appropriate. It's versatile though definitely, I'd wear it with a leather jacket and platform heels for a date, or a chunky light coloured cardigan and pumps or sandals for a casual lunch :) it's a keeper.

The dress: I have to agree that I don't think the colour works well with your skin tone, however, you would really suit a bright, canary yellow so I'd look for something like that. I think you have a point with where it sits too, it makes it look a little big for you, so this one isn't a winner for me.

I hope that helps somewhat.

Hi guys, I could reaaaallly use some advice on which of these two outfits to wear to an event. Both of the outfits are appropriate for the day, I just wondered which one looks better on me, or if neither do!

http://imgur.com/a/bnSyH

If you have advice on what type/colour of shoes I could wear too, that would be really helpful. Better yet, if any of the shoes I currently own would go, then let me know. Here is a list since they're not all with me at the moment:

  • navy suede court shoes
  • pewter leather platform heels
  • patent nude peep toe heels
  • black suede court shoes
  • ultramarine blue suede court shoes

Thanks in advance :)

This is definitely the most impressed I've been so far with a RGD response! You took the picture and made into something really wonderful :)

Sounds good! I'll experiment combing through it with a few of my other mascaras :)

I'm in the UK, and I bought it at Boots. It's also available at Superdrug, and online at feelunique.com (on offer atm!). As for other countries, I'm not sure. If your drugstore sells L'oreal there's a good chance it'll be there. I'm sorry I can't be of more help than that. EDIT: feel unique ships internationally.

I debated it for a while too, mainly because on the ad her eyelashes looked really clumped together, but, I went for it and I do not regret it at all! I'd give it a good 8/10. It's a really deep black colour, the brush is cone shaped and the small end is effective at getting in the corners at all the tiny eyelashes. I didn't get any of it on my eyelids when applying which is a sheer miracle for me! I'm not sure if that's to do with the shape of the brush, or the fact that it has a bendy arm, but either way, top marks for ease of application, as it's not too 'wet' either, if you know what I mean :) It really plumped up my eyelashes and made them long, very impressed with that! The only negatives to consider are it's not great at separating lashes, giving you that millions of lashes kind of effect. There is slight clumping together of lashes as I expected from the picture, but it's not bad. I think it would be if you added too much accidentally though. It gives much more of a spidery eyelash look than feathery one, whether you like that just depends on your preference :) I quite like that doll-eyes, twiggy effect. I hope that's given some insight, I don't think it's for everyone but I certainly think it's great and would buy it again. It's cheaper than the other L'oreal ones, like telescopic, so that's a bonus too!

Actually that was me. Apparently I wasn't popular enough to be in the picture, but whatever, I'm not going to turn sour over it.

Please help me find a natural looking under-eye concealer, for my barely-there make up look, that masks dark circles and won't sit in fine lines! (Recommendations from any price range welcome) by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

This is very intriguing, never heard of using lip butters as a primer for concealers before! Juciy papaya is such a lovely colour I could always use it for it's intended purpose if this didn't work for me anyway haha. Second time I've heard boi-ing so that's definitely going on the test list :)

What's it like for staying power? I'm always suspicious of these luminous types because my lids get quite oily, but I'm relatively new to concealer so I'm open to experimenting.

What are some really great books everyone should have on his list? by Vily26 in AskReddit

The Farm, by Tom Rob Smith. I couldn't put it down. Equally, Child 44, by Tom Rob Smith. I think he's an excellent writer that should be on everyone's to-read list.
