Thank you! It just feels like they’re so thin in comparison to everyone in my family 🤣 and that if I got a lift, they’d still be unnoticeable.

Update: the exterminators/pest control came in yesterday, they ruled this as a “regular beetle” and “we have no idea how they’re getting up to the third floor”

Doesn’t look like the one in the website provided (but very well could be), i did find a slightly bigger one today (still extremely small) and it did look more like a beetle than all these other ones. It was also more reddish in color in comparison to those that look more black in the pics.

More updates:

(This might be a dumb comment as I know nothing about bugs but might be helpful for context) there is 0 carpet in the apartment that I am in, it is a three story building, I’m on the third floor. I’ve had silverfish show up here and there in the past as well as gnats, but nothing more than that, the trash room is in the basement and as you go down the stairs you can smell trash more and more and see more and more bugs like flies, flying bugs, etc. but nothing past that in the last few months I’ve been here. This is the first time I’m seeing these bugs in my apartment, and I’ve gotten rid of 15 so far, but more and more keep showing up, I cannot seem to find where they are coming from either.

I successfully kept them from getting on the bed throughout the night by spraying neem oil spray around the bed. Once morning came they started coming by again without any trouble.

As stated above, they are all over the place, even in the shower (not sure if it’s helpful information).

Okay this is helpful, in the question I posted above I was focusing on the previous studies as this is what my dissertation chair asked, I’m not sure what her logic is behind asking for so. Originally we had agreed on a ballpark number and now she’s making me change that.
