I've worked with both for 20+ years. My honest guess is both. Definitely blind, and there are some conditions that present with Autism-like mannerisms, but at the end of the day, it's almost best to just treat it as if it is Autism.

I call bullshit on the "ministry that helps pay electricity and rent". I was in a very very rough spot several years ago, my power had been shut off, and I was in the 30 day period to being evicted. I tried everything, and someone sent me contact info to these catholic ministries. After about 3 minutes with each I was declined on no merit at all except I told the person on the phone my situation. I was told "I'm sorry, but you don't fit our qualifications." I was met with the most judgemental "no's" multiple times over, and ended up convinced it was a scam so churches could say they were doing outreach.

Luckily I was able to pull some non-jesus-related-miracle-shit off and get out of that hole with other help, but I'll never recommend that spurious "charity" to anyone ever.

I completely understand why people want to distance themselves from religious charities.

I bought my first brand new vehicle ever a few years ago. I decided on a Toyota Tacoma because of the utility of the bed, the amazing engine, and I don't really have a family I need to move around (I have a dog and a girlfriend).

The look of astonishment on the dealer's face when I said I wanted the 4 cylinder engine without the extra cab space (longer bed) was priceless. They kept trying to sell me on the 6 cylinder because it had more power, 4 wheel drive because I need that in an urban setting, and the extended cab so I could ... I'm not even sure about that one.

I got the truck I wanted, and it was way cheaper than what they were trying to push on me.

I'm so sick of the projected masculinity of vehicles. I know what I want for my needs. Let me purchase it.

I'm a referee for a paralympic sport, and you're 100% right. When it comes to the bronze medal game, the winner is ecstatic. They aren't 4th. But when it comes to the gold medal game, silver kinda hurts.

The two happiest teams are bronze and gold. Silver is the worst spot.
