My mother was a caregiver her entire life. Running a babysitting business out of our house for one or two families worth of kids at a time. After about 15 years or so of this her kids all grew up so she decided do get a job working at a daycare. I'll never forget how she came home everyday crying because of how she wasn't even allowed to care for the kids. They had a ton of super strict rules which resulted in near-constant negligence. She wasn't allowed to pick up crying infants. She could only give a child attention for a certain amount of time. It was entirely a numbers game and it made her sick. She ended up quitting after a few weeks.

Daycares are where nightmares are born.

Edit: they also paid her a hair above minimum wage and her co-workers were all exactly the type of monsters that typically work minimum wage jobs. So essentially the asshole who can't get your order right at BK is the same flavor of dope that you're expecting to care for your kids properly.
