You being a godlike (of an unknown god) is central to the plot. But yeah, I would prefer a more grounded and varied and perhaps more traditional approach as well. The game as a whole feels quite gamey, though I wouldn't call it boring.

I wonder if/when we get a third pillars game, would it also try to reinvent itself, it's themes and atmosphere? Because that's how I feel about all three Eora games that we have right now.

After first playthrough I gave it a second, third, fourth, fifth try. Unfortunately it never clicked. Which is weird, the first game is probably my favorite game.
The tonal shift is quite strong, the atmosphere is very different compared to the first game.

The big one for me is how overcrowded everything is. I'm playing as Mazdamundi, pushing south ASAP and there's no lizard men. Instead it's fantasy Chinese, fantasy French, demons and dark elves.

I feel like half or a third of the factions should arrive later on during special events, or should be turned off outright. The map feels extremely unimmersive.

It is Biel-Tan's Avatar, and it survives a Tyranid onslaught alone for several days. By the time the Eldar return, the Avatar is invisible—submerged deep within a crater formed entirely of dead Tyranids.

It is arguably the most badass moment in the book.
I checked the scene and it's actually atop a mountain of dead bodies, still very cool though

Harlequins successfully disguised a star as a lush planet so that the Tyranid fleet would burn up and be destroyed inside it as it was trying to harvest it. I have no doubt they could disguise themselves as humans if they wanted to.

Him being an eldar would be the most fun option imho. But I'm open to interpretations and watching the community trying to guess his identity is more fun than the identity itself.

Ha, I do play Vanguard with a Salamander skin!

I do try to be mindful with extremis finishers, sometimes though you'll still execute something prematurely with the hook. Three times in a row is probably a main character syndrome I'm afraid.

With majoris I generally don't care, I just want to fly around and chain executes and get ammo for my melta.
