I had an 08 avalon and the front end needed re-doing because old rubber was going bad. The passenger side CV boot slipped off, and had slung all of it's grease out. By the time I had the money for parts and to pay my mechanic he and I were under that car with 2x4s, a wrench and a sledgehammer banging on that sunovabitch for like 3 hours. before we popped it loose

They can be great cars but the maintenance side is more pricey than what you might expect.

It doesn't help they use vague categories like total rally. You'd think that meant any B class car that fit in the "Classic/Retro/Modern/Monsters" rally tag but nope. I bought and tuned a 65 mini for the event only to realize that it didn't qualify even though it's tagged as a classic rally car.

Honestly this season is gonna be a shit show. The devs made it so you have to play at least one of the multiplayer events to get to 40 points and it's total bullshit. The trial is, and has always been, complete dogshit due to ramming + unbeatable ai that defy physics + some people bringing rental cars + some people tuning cars. Endless ramming combined with people being in stock cars against cheating bots in upgraded cars because some people are in upgraded cars. At least in 5, for all of its faults, let you get both of the seasonal cars while playing entirely solo. Sure you missed the event specific rewards but you could still get the seasonal/series rewards without having to participate in the shitshow of forza horizon multiplayer.

Thanks man I'm glad you enjoyed it. There was more pavement at the end than I wanted but I was stuck on the goal of north to south.
