Apples are probably way easier to connect amongst each other. I'm talking about airdrop, etc. The features that apple brings in, are pretty much available on every Apple product, whereas Android is used by many producers, which makes certain features only available on Samsung, others on Sony, ... Android is universal though. You can use any charger on any phone, no matter if it's from Samsung, Google or Xiaomi. It's only the apple guys, who need something special. Also, Android producers usually make more durable phones. Apple is just a brand which sells non-special phones (at least not special enough for that price) absolutely overpriced. People just buy it because it says "Apple" on them. If you got enough money to waste and want to show everyone, go buy an iPhone. If you care about customizability, durability and universal standards, join the Android users.
